I'd be surprised if there was a team in Europe that could win 10 games in an nba schedule. But that could satisfy holding ones own depending. He appears to be a soft big man that can shoot. Bargnani? Dirk. Or as the Bulls originally thought, Aldridge. One can hope.

I would just sign with Chicago for 2 years and tell Phil let's see what you do with the place until then. Don't waste your remaining prime years sitting at home in May.

Maybe the Knicks could get Lin back and return to their glory weeks. How do you force a team to trade you right after just signing and not agreeing to the S&T from the beginning? Tell Phil I won't play one game for you?

Agent says Melo hasn't made a decision yet on the Knicks and Lakers. Reporter didn't even throw the Bulls in as an option.

What? Once you sign a deal isn't your leverage for demanding a trade way down? I assumed they weren't talking this year necessarily Yeah that's kinda how I took it, I think once you sign it has to be a explicit S&T or straight up resign. Once you sign you can't be traded until some point during the next season (want to say sometime in November). I think it's either December 15 or January 15. FWIW, the Isola report is already being refuted by Howard Beck. I still think Melo's going to end up back in NY. B/B had a texter point out that Isola stood behind his Steve Kerr to the Knicks story too

Hasn't Melo publicly said he doesn't want to have to weaken a team so they can fit him in? The S&T only helps the Bulls if they can get Boozer to the Knicks and I don't know why they'd want him. Melo is getting a fifth year from someone in 4 years. If this is all about Melo getting the max he is stupid. The only reason Chicago would not be the obvious choice, and every media member I have seen commenting on this the last three weeks concurred, is that Rose is injury prone and we don't even know the player he is anymore.
