    Speaking of the Astros, Kyle's blasting of them after the 2012 draft on numerous Cubs' message boards seems kind of funny now that Correa is clearly more valuable than Buxton, and it allowed them to take McCullers as well. JK, Kyle, we can all look silly when it comes to baseball predictions.

    Bryant has 4 warning track fly outs since Saturday. Might have had a couple in Cincinnati too.

    Offense has looked good since the no-hitter and this pitcher isn't good. I think we'll score quite a bit tonight, but the Rockies probably aren't done either.

    It is pretty disappointing that we have to be subjected to another Beeler start.

    There are so many starting pitchers available who are better than Beeler/Wada, so not only would I be upset, I would be stunned if we don't acquire a starting pitcher. Even if we continue to play poorly before the deadline, there's still 7 games left against the Giants. Admitting defeat before those games is silliness.

    Aside from his disappointing stats this season, what does Puig do that pisses people off so much? Legitimately asking, because I don't pay much attention to the Dodgers. Is he just a total dick? Is it overblown Starlin-like "mental mistakes"?

    UZR is in love with Coghlan this year, though he's right at 0 DRS and baseball reference has him with a negative dWAR. Would like to see some Schwarber LF/Coghaln RF when KS isn't catching.

    i want cargo so badly. would you swap soler for him? This may be the most terrible thing you've posted yet. I'm partial to the time he cited Russell's UZR at shortstop after 3 plays. Man, that Blue Jays lineup is fun. Another great home park for Tulo to hit in.

    They're not going to DFA Soriano after 3 (bad) outings. Medina is still on the roster for crying out loud. I do think this game (and Friday's game) pushes Grimm and Rondon to the 8th and 9th innings and Soriano into the Jaxon role.

    WOOOOOOOOW Bryant is a few feet away from that being his, like, 6th homerun in the past week. He's been slumping/striking out a ton lately, but hopefully these deep drives keep on coming.
