  1. I get that he hasn't played in 2 weeks, but man, fans in the stands wouldn't get blown away by Axelrod's fastball.
  2. That strike 1 to Fowler was absurd.
  3. What is that guy doing in a major league bullpen. My god that was the least impressive 1-2-3 inning I've ever seen. 87 in the middle of the zone for outs.
  4. If he threw harder than 87, that's a dong. He was JUST early.
  5. Maddon double switched. I assume Rondon stays, unless maybe it's a save situation.
  6. Good call, but I've seen worse not called this season.
  7. Hamilton isn't THAT much faster than Buxton, and Schwarber threw him out. Positive thoughts. Great try by Starlin.
  8. That was a great pitch 3-2 to Soler. Most hitters swing at that pitch.
  9. What a [expletive] amazing draft pick. How was he not a consensus top 5 pick.
  10. We need to take a moment to appreciate that play by Starlin.
  11. He served up the meatiest meatball in history to Bruce. yeah that was one of the worst pitches i've ever seen even worse than the one rondon threw to goldschmidt Nothing will ever be worse than the pitch to Goldschmidt - location and selection - after the weak swings he had at sliders before the fastball.
  12. The offense has looked good this series I think. Rizzo, Soler, and Fowler all hit balls hard tonight with RISP and 2 outs. Schwarber's double bounced over the wall. They could have a lot more than 2 runs with the way they've swung the bats.
  13. Oh good. Now we can lineout 6 more times to end the game.
  14. FINALLY the Reds get a seeing-eye single.
  15. You've got to be kidding me with that. That defies physics not being a homerun on that pitch, that swing, and a hot Soler. Like that Baez deep fly out against Chapman last year; still don't understand that one.
  16. Second straight game Happ is out of the lineup for Eugene. So it seems like he has been promoted..
  17. Did that not look like a line drive into the outfield off the bat? I was pretty confused when they cut to the SS fielding a grounder. Even with the shift, I thought it was way over his head.
  18. If grounding out to the SS is cool, Starlin would be Miles Davis.
  19. I don't think that's a homer. lol at the Reds' announcers saying it should be a double of all things.
  20. Maybe this is too hard to do and this coming out of a place of frustration, but they should change the ground rule double rule if someone is on 1st base; have it be umpires' discretion if the runner should score. The current rule inappropriately punishes the offense.
  21. I keep seeing people say this, and yeah, maybe it's bad overall. But we are on the back half of it being bad. Dude, just give me the Brewers offense. This is [expletive] brutal and not every team is this bad. The back half of it being bad, while sitting in a playoff spot. Let's keep talking about how we are a playoff team on July 21 and ignore what we are seeing. The offense is frustrating, but the pitching staff is pretty awesome. Definitely good enough to stay in the race even if the offense doesn't step up.
