Cardinals lose, 6 wins to go. Battle of the beards, Jake's is fuller, and the spelling of his name makes sense. Advantage Cubs. Also tree's reign of terror is over, so the Cubs will probably never lose again.

It is so annoying that the Rangers are that close to the Cubs with their +26 RD. If we had their luck we would be 134-4. Probably more annoying because I know some Rangers fans who think their team is just one good week away from being as good as the Cubs. Imagine being an Astros or Mariners fan.

I was in a St. Louis bar when that (admittedly fun in a vacuum) night of baseball went down with all the games ending within minutes of each other. Bartender thought my dog just died.

in a way. anyone on the 40 man roster can be added to the playoff roster so adding these 2 new guys to the 40 man makes them eligible whereas they wouldn't have been without the DL moves. (assuming they don't get DFA) You just have to be in the organization. -

me, for one. why can't I track down the video of him not being granted time and stepping back into the box to single? it was against the Marlins I found a crap ton of gifs of him falling down while running the bases. That's Kal Daniels.
