    That's clearly not the case due to the fact that Lackey was warming up to begin with.

    I've got the following teams in if they win out: Bama Penn St Georgia TCU Wisconsin Ohio State Miami Notre Dame Michigan St ETA Forgot there was a Big 12 title game this year. That complicates things and probably removes ND and OSU as locks by winning out(but odds are still overwhelmingly in their favor, along with OK, OK St, and UM) NC State would have a pretty decent shot as well

    TCU and Miami are both undefeated so there can still be all 4 playoff teams

    I wonder what a guy like ZZ Thorn would think about the current state of the team. I feel like the Ricketts and this front office have given us everything we wanted for the Cubs. We've got a smart, analytical front office who tend to value the sorts of traits in players that we also value. They put together the best run in our lifetimes, and finally won the World Series. Does ZZ Thorn just accept these changes and enjoy them now that they've actually been made, or does he still favor the Dusty and Hendry approach? We've seen those types grouse and gripe a little louder from time to time if the team really struggles for a stretch, but I can't imagine that even the biggest pro-Dusty or Hendry weirdo isn't happy with the end results of the current regime. I mean, they're ultimately Cubs fans. There was a bizarre subset of Illinois fans that became Kansas State fans after Weber was fired, but it's not quite the same since Illinois has been terrible since then

    I hesitate to ask what sport the KBC is from that we should be emulating. It's been a smashing success for croquet so I don't see why baseball shouldn adopt it

    The short lived annual NSBB game where Roast was our usher and Vance harassed him all game. And how outraged he was that the crying girl spent the night in his bed and got eye makeup all over his Fukudome jersey. (There's just so much to unpack there)

    Well, hoping this doesn't somehow link back to Underwood. We supposedly wanted Evans as an assistant too :/ Though should point out he only worked for BU for one season. He was an assistant under Frank Martin for a season at KSU and then moved on to USCe with him
