Pujols had a terrible start to last year. Then from June on he OPSd ~1.000. I'd probably wait until he's completed at least 1/10 of his contract before I got worried. Oh, then he OPSd 1.155 in the playoffs. -
burlington has a cool bridge I like their coat factory. If Burlington smells like their coat factory, then I find my opinion on it completely justified.

Yeah, I'm nowhere near as excited. I really like Anderson's game but Muhammad will be a year and gone and Parker seems like a project. Howland has nothing for the 2013 recruiting class, this is where the SI article will hurt. For those questioning how Howland got this class with all the negative going around the program - it's all about Muhammad wanting to go there, Parker and Anderson are very, very close friends with Muhammad. It does help that one of the new assistant coaches used to be an AAU coach in Georgia. It was his AAU coach wasn't it?

I'm not seeing how the higher LD% would lead to a higher ERA unless it was coupled with a high BABIP. It's not like he's giving up a ton of 2Bs and 3Bs (4 and 1 respectively) Volstad's been burnt by the big inning, giving up 10 runs in the span of 3 innings his last 2 starts.

Whew...I thought we had blown it for sure last night. We got a little help from the umps, and Matheny, and an angel in the infield. Now if the boys don't go in with the mindset "we won the series", a sweep might be swung. I will however, not be wagering. Come on double or nothing you coward, the shelters aren't that bad. -
