  1. Do you think E'Twaun will get a few minutes? I might actually watch the game. Assuming Allen can't go, I'd say O/U - 7 minutes. It'll be mostly Dooling and Daniels handling the point, and Doc will probably run Bradley til he can't walk. If Allen plays, he'll be garbage time only.
  2. 1 game for Rajon
  3. Theoretically, sure. But you probably won't dominate for long without actually being pretty damn good. The Cubs should have a goal of regularly winning 95 games, not every year of course, but they shouldn't be thinking about trying to be a team that can contend within a weak division or maybe making it into the playoffs on the 2nd wild card. Plus, being a wild card isn't going to be nearly as favorable as it has in the past. They haven't given any indication that that's their plan. I'm not suggesting they have. But people talking about the crapshoot (poor description) of the playoffs and how all that matters is getting in are forgetting about the change in system going forward. There's value in being the #1 seed. The whole point of the conversation was a comment about how Garza shouldn't be retained because by the time the Cubs can win the world series it'll be 6 years from now.

  5. I hope Jordan goes the full Isiah and names himself the coach. They might not win a game.
  6. I love pretty much any Lion King reference. That's outstanding.
  7. ??? Thought the sarcasm was obvious enough. I didn't know if he's slated for surgery or something.
  8. Eleven of them, to be precise. CUBS are 14-22 (0.389) vs. Philadelphia on the road (2001-2012) For not winning a series there in 11 years, that's a pretty good record.
  9. Day to day
  10. That would be criminal
  11. Yes because bumping a ref who just called a technical foul on you, that is a smart decision. :good: There never should've been a T to begin with. He tripped over the ref's foot as he followed him on the "bump" He tripped, then took another step and bumped the ref. He could have played it off as a trip or he could have stopped his momentum. He did neither. Plus, I don't know about you, but when I'm falling, I generally stick my chest out to break the fall. You kinda do. I guess he could've grabbed the ref to break his fall, but that spaz probably would've banned him for life if he did that.

  13. Egotistical ref makes it about him. Awful.
  14. Allen out for Celtics
  15. I said the Bulls have a chance, and I called it a potential series.
  16. The entire selling point of the Bulls to anyone is Derrick Rose. You're making a pitch to a guy who plays the same position, and basing it around the fact that well, Rose won't be 100% anyway.
  17. I kind of doubt Bulls fans want to revisit it, but Hinrich would be a good match.
  18. Nash played 31.6 mins/game this year in a compressed season. He led the league in assists this season. He's going to go share PG duties with Rose? Recovering from injury or not, who's going to be running the offense when they're both on the court? LA having Ramon Sessions is going to prevent them from being a good fit for Nash, but the Bulls having Derrick Rose doesn't?
  19. Steve Nash I have no idea why Steve Nash would want to come to the Bulls. Does it get tiring being intentionally dense in this thread? Ok, I'm Steve Nash, an all-star PG. Sell me on coming to a team where their all-star point guard will be back by January at the latest. ETA: If the answer is chasing a ring, why wouldn't he go to a team that actually needs a PG for an entire season like Miami or LA rather than forcing 2 of them on the court once Rose gets healthy? Miller sounds like a good fit.
  20. Didn't Hollinger or one of the stats guys have Boston-Chicago as a really close series prior to the Rose injury. I wouldn't say the Bulls have no chance, but Boston's clearly favored in that potential series
