So is simultaneously blaming the game 3 loss on Noah's injury, and Noah playing.

The Bulls were up by 3 with 20 minutes left in the game when Noah went out the first time. He came back in for 2 minutes in the 4th and the Bulls lead dropped 2 points. They were not cruising to a victory.

What's the line here? Should we have not started him last game? What if we don't trade Dempster for another 3 days? Should we sit him that entire time while Jed negotiates? -
The guy had an oblique tweak, he's not running out there without a torn labrum.

You assume that other teams are run by idiots who don't understand that more pitchers than the ones being dangled in front of them are available. I think that there are some teams that truly haven't decided what they're doing yet. I doubt the Marlins know yet. Tampa could decide either direction evidently. Do you think there is any chance that Ryan Dempster will be the only pitcher available?

Rusin's control has really been disappointing this year. It'll be interesting to see what decisions are made in regards to the lefties that are Rule 5 eligible this winter. Getting a look at guys like Raley late in the year is thus important in that process. I think Rusin should get a look as well, to help us figure out who to keep. I know they're not super important prospects, but I don't like the idea of giving Rusin 3 September starts and then DFAing him and losing him for nothing come December. -
Why would scouts all be sold he can handle 3B at the big league level if he was fringe-average?

No, but TT hasn't let it be known that Starlin Castro is on the block either. Actually, I was responding to WSR. But why would it matter if someone's on the block or not? I would think you'd want as many teams as possible to be bidding for a guy like that. And I don't think a single down season should affect the value THAT much of a guy like Upton(injury caveat obviously in play). I guess the question becomes whether a person thinks Upton and Castro have around the same value? Personally, I do. The point is, Arizona is open to trading him, therefore it's unlikely they're looking to trade him and expecting the world. -
