Nope. Stanton will be making 25 mill a year in 3 seasons. We've got Castro for 5/43 and an option after this year. I love Stanton, but we've got plenty of options other than Starlin to trade for him. Mojo was probably making the fair assumption that we need to dump salary to fit Stanton into our budget. -
Would you really argue that this is a better SPORT than baseball or football? Football is an awful sport with no action.

There aren't any advantages any more. I mean, yeah, you can still way overpay for guys when they become FA, but it's hard to get good players when you can't pick high and you can't overpay for amateurs. Unless those amateurs are the multiple non-IFA budget guys we've finished in distant 2nd for.

Red Sox had a 10-game losing streak, but they aren't in last because now Tampa Bay is on a 10-game loser of their own. Yankees and Dodgers are both a game over .500. That article is behind a paywall, what's the bump up for? The radio deal or speculation on TV deal? The WGN part of the TV deal. Up from 250k. Also- Have reached out to FOX, but no serious negotiations have taken place. I mean why would there be? We have another 4 months on this contract
