  1. Yeah, with every pitcher bursting into flames, I'd be happy with 300 points knocked off Schwarber's OPS
  2. Maybe his braile keyboard was miscalibrated.
  3. Of course - other fan bases now feel they can get Castro for pennies on the dollar because he is "expendable". When in fact that couldnt be farther from the truth. Not pennies, they think it will cost Syndergaard + Pennies
  4. Baker is listed twice, and you're missing Concepcion (1.2M) along with buyouts for Fujikawa (0.5M) and Veras (0.15M) I think Fuji has an option of like 5M, but I can't see any way it's picked up.
  5. Solar is more annoying to me than Hammels and Hammels is really annoying to me.
  6. Some guys like to play, it's not like he's crippled.
  7. Oh yeah, but shorts are gross.
  8. What? Once you sign a deal isn't your leverage for demanding a trade way down? I assumed they weren't talking this year necessarily Yeah that's kinda how I took it, I think once you sign it has to be a explicit S&T or straight up resign. Once you sign you can't be traded until some point during the next season (want to say sometime in November). But you can always get it if you want one? Worked for him in Denver
  9. Equally true for like 20 other teams, though Not that many, but having what is generally looked at as the #1 or #2 best farm system probably has to help set the Cubs apart if they go for him. And they should. And a $4 payroll for 2015. And a supposed aversion to big contracts for pitchers.

  11. That's a lot of "rolled over" money. #PTR #IndecentProposal It's great business-wise, if most of this group pans out on some level, as it'll be 2020 or longer before he's even going to be put under fire to actually act like a large market owner. He might even come out with profit and a free baseball team.
  12. Yes, easily my favorite one season or less Cub one day we are going to run into each other while both wearing edmonds shirtseys and it is going to be glorious Yeah but you'll be in a car when you run into me.

  14. He was so toast those first 2 weeks.

  16. Baez doesn't learn names of people OPSing under .700. Did he get a Memento-like tattoo for himself in April?
  17. He's taking the "near the ground" definition to heart #neehurding
  18. I assume that was as far as he could get in Charlotte's Web before he started getting migraines.
