If anyone said drafting in the top 5 is idiot proof, it hasn't happened often. I've seen "If the FO is so good, we shouldn't have to draft in the top 5 to get a good farm system" which is far from the same thing. -

holy [expletive] latroy had NINE blown saves in 13 opportunities You're looking at '05. In '04 he had 9 blown saves in 34 save opportunities(+4 holds) They managed to win 5 of those 9 blown saves though.

I've been to several home playoff games, including NLCS game 6 in '03 and the '98 Wild Card clincher. The moment when DeRosa stepped up to the plate is the loudest I've ever heard Wrigley while in attendance. I couldn't hear my own yelling. And when he GIDP, the silence was deafening. It could not have possibly been quieter than it was when one pitch Rich gave up the HR to Chris Young on the first effing pitch of the game. That place was a graveyard after that the rest of the night. At least you weren't wearing a Rich Hill shersey
