  1. Getting anyone decent to a 2 year deal seems cheap to me.
  2. De La Rosa extended for 2/25. Seems really cheap
  3. Even though, the dates and teams match up with 2012, I'm still going to assume this wasn't just a typo and that there are alternative realities that exist only in her mind.
  4. Everyone be surprised that Carrie Muskat is wrong. They won 13 consecutive home games in 2008
  5. Carrie Muskat @CarrieMuskat . 15m My mistake, turns out it was Brett Jackson serving #Chipotle
  6. That's racist
  7. It's pretty unlikely Soler graduates. Give me top 3. i feel like you have to scout Buxton or Correa almost as MVP-level players to justify something different I'm guessing it's too much of a jump from midseason for Soler for any of the publications to do it.

  9. 12 team, standard, no PPR Brees Stacy Ingram Green A. Johnson Jennings Clay Bengals D Whoever winds up as NO's kicker Foles Rice C Johnson Ivory D Williams Tate S Johnson
  10. Ever since I breathed a sigh of relief about CPatt in '03, walking off means nothing to me

  12. He seriously may have cost himself like 70M in guaranteed money by not taking an extension with Cleveland
  13. Am I missing a joke here? No, I'm glad they want to keep the guy playing but how long do they go on sitting him every 3 days? How's that not a legit question? He's battled nagging injuries and was in the minors where games don't count. Why would you expect him to sit in the majors?
  14. Dan Vogelbach is so clearly trade bait in my mind that I'd barely flinch in whatever trade he gets tossed into

  17. It's crazy. I'm already pretty pleased with what the bullpen is and we still have Vizcaino, Rivero, and, to a lesser extent, Paniagua in the minors, among some other candidates. I really hope we don't waste time trying to convert Ramirez. (I said almost the exact same thing about Dempster in '08)
  18. with all this payroll flexibility (just for you ssr) we have i'd much rather acquire guys for money if we can than give up assets. even if we can only put a $100M team out there that's a lot to spend on a few spots. Use the flexibility to buy asset(s). Trade assets before they get bad for prospects. Flip prospects for younger assets. Unless contracts escalate quicker than I assume they will, I'd give us even playoff odds with 100M payroll
  19. Cost certainty is worth a lot when you're looking to contend but aren't a slam dunk.
  20. Assuming Jackson doesn't come back to the rotation who is the odd man out? Strailly or Doubront? Neither one of them really do a ton for me, I guess I'd prefer Strailly get the work
