    Let's revers that. Him adding a lot of muscle happened to coincide with the prime of his career where his HR spike occurred. So you're the one in charge of the tests!!

    And I just cannot understand why people hate on 3 point shooting so much. Why anybody would prefer a big fat guy shooting 5 footers over somebody showing actual skill by making difficult shots is beyond me. Good ball movement and screening for the open look > backing down with your ass for a 4 footer in my book.

    so if illinois had glen davis, you're telling me you would want bruce weber to tell davis to change his style of play? That would be ridiculous, but I wouldn't enjoy watching Illinois play nearly as much as I have. It's why I loathe the NBA. And comparing Glen Davis to Shaq is foolish. When you're 6'8 and fat in college you can get away with it cause college teams are undersized, when you're playing against elite big men who are 5 inches taller than you, you can neither push them around or shoot over them should you get positioning. Davis will be a huge bust.

    There's no way in the world Nova beats LSU by 20, and I doubt UConn would either. In my opinion, LSU has looked like the best team in the tourney this year. Nova won't be able to stop LSU's bigs, and UConn hasn't looked special in this tourney...I think LSU provides an answer to UConn's front court strength and would give UConn all they could handle and more. LSU's guards are average to sub-par. Nova and UConn should run circles aroudn them.

    I hate LSU, and not just because I had Texas winning it all. I can't stand the Sean May style of basketball of throwing your fat ass around the paint to establish position because you know they'll never call the offensive foul on you and then hitting a 5 footer. In addition Davis and Thomas sound as educated as Shelden Williams look. Davis's 60 consecutive seconds of saying mutha-f***er was pretty classy too.

    No one on the east coast takes the ACT. They take the SAT. Just saying. Collins would be taking the ACT in all likelihood. I preferred the SAT as well as it was more an aptitude test than what you've learned as I'm an incredibly lazy student.

    Texas, Memphis, UConn, Florida to keep my 1st place hopes alive in my money pool. Florida/Nova doesn't matter for me in NSBB pool.

    Did some quick searching around looks like a minimum GPA in 12 core courses(I couldn't find what the GPA was) and a 17 on the ACT. For the ACT, you can take it as many times as you want and combine your scores from the 4 different subjects to reach the average of 17.(i.e. A 21 in Science on your 1st test + 16 on Reading on your 3rd + 15 on English on your 1st + 17 on Math on your 5th test = qualifying)

    I don't know the answer to either of those questions. Is a qualifying score dependent on the institution? I believe it does vary depending on the school, but I think D1-wide there is a minimum. 17 sounds familiar, but I'm not positive on that. Although it may be a sliding scale based on high school GPA. If my memory is correct, I would guess KU would have the minimum requirements, as I seem to remember that's what got Dockery into Duke, and I'd be surprised if KU had higher standards than Duke.

    haha, i love bitter fans You wouldn't be bitter at having a game taken away from you? Oh yeah you root for one of the "1st tier" programs, you never have to worry about that.

    What is the ACT qualifiying score? 17 or 18? And does it take an average from the 3rd test on(as it is for a normal student) or whether just top score will do.

    I nearly had the Mason/Wichita matchup at least, though I would've went with Wichita. I thought UNC was really overrated and had whoever I was taking with that MSU/GM game beating them. I went back and forth on it but settled on MSU. I had Wichita in the Sweet 16 cause Tennessee sucks.

    If he's not naming names where he has first hand knowledge, but naming names based on circumstantial evidence and speculation, that's lower than low. Where did he name names? He said Sammy is a guy to be suspicious of. He never said he knows he uses. In fact, he said quite the opposite. Yet he mentioned seeing other guys, and being offered by other guys, so he obviously knows SOME people who used. Yet he used his oppurtunity once again to slam his superior former teammate.

    That's because he could go to the Dominican Republic for his supply. They don't have smoking guns in the DR (except for Manny Alexander). Sammy has proven that he is not above cheating, e.g. corking his bat. Given that, I am fairly confident that he would have no problem taking steroids. Be careful. If you've ever gotten a speeding ticket you could be charged with murder. I think that a better example would be if you've gotten a speeding ticket, it's likely you've parked in a no parking zone before. Fine, if you've ever been in a fight, you could be charged with murder. Regarding your other post, the argument is what's the point of Grace's quotes. He's bringing absolutely nothing to the table with his comments. He's providing new analysis that Jay Mariotti and Skip Bayless hasn't already. Yet, somehow, because of the character of himself that he's created, he's praised for his comments, but Mariotti and Bayless are dismissed. Grace came out and said he's seen guys taking, he's been offered, then his argument for Sammy is look at his weight. Grace is either a liar or a coward regarding being offered and witnessing it firsthand. Either way it's par for the course for him.
