  1. As are the body weight arguments.
  2. To clarify, HGH increases your head size, not steroids.
  3. Prior's gonna be named as that PTBNL any day now.
  4. That's because he could go to the Dominican Republic for his supply. They don't have smoking guns in the DR (except for Manny Alexander). Sammy has proven that he is not above cheating, e.g. corking his bat. Given that, I am fairly confident that he would have no problem taking steroids. There's no flights out of San Francisco to the Dominican?
  5. Bonds has numerous smoking guns. Sosa has none.
  6. Re: His HR totals, he was injured in '96, and I believe I had him at about 50 HRs that year with injury time back. Additionally '95 was the 144 game season, and '94 was obviously shortened by the strike. I had the numbers extrapolated in a previous post that showed him to be on a pretty steady increase in HR power before he had the down year in '97.
  7. You mean the ones who can tell what drugs people have taken by looking at pictures of them in baseball uniforms? BUT HIS HR TOTALS!!! And you've got it all wrong stitchface, he obviously started juicing in June of '98...or something.
  8. These 2 things don't seem to go together. Much of Huggins's program seemed to be built on having those players on the team that made the program the kind that it was.
  9. who did that? Me in the year 2016.
  10. 1. The Sun-Times is not the journalistic standard to try and hold anything to. 2. I think it speaks volumes that Grace shared a locker room with Sosa for 9 years, hates him, and is a media whore, and the best he can offer is LOOK AT HIS BODY!!! AND HIS HOME RUNS!!! Thanks for the contribution Mark, we'll see you again next time you have an uninformed opinion to get yourself over.
  11. As Raisin said it's ridiculous to not give Illinois credit. They played great pressure defense and shot lights out those last 4 minutes.
  12. If only you were an illinois fan :) then you could of apprecated the zona game.....i doubt i will ever see a better basketball game I think Raisin was too busy complaining and making excuses about that game. Actually, I really didn't care. I hate Arizona way more than I'll ever care about Illinois. You definitely cheered for Zona.

  14. Snood do you think Self is a better in-game coach than Weber?
  15. I can't stand Sean May basketball of passing the ball down to the fat load and letting him use his mass to back down the defender. That's not basketball that's football without pads. And I'd be pretty surprised if Williams wasn't drafted in the 1st round, but yeah he'll definitely be a bust.
  16. Even Bowden wouldn't fall for that.
  17. Dude, its been over a year. When can we give it a rest? dude, Willis was traded 3 years ago and people still won't shut up about it 4
  18. Make a good argument putting them in front of either UCLA, Indiana, UNC, Duke, or Kentucky. The top 5 go ahead I will wait for it. KU is a top 10 program or second tier. Hey Bill, that Sommerville kid can shoot might want to guard him. I think they're in front of Duke. They had a few Final Four appearances in the 60's, but other than that they were pretty much irrelevant until the late 80's. Yeah they've quite possibly been the best program since 1989, but that's not all that matters. It's close and they're right there, but I would give them the nod. Championship appearances in 64, 78, and 86 as well while Kansas had a drought from the last 50s til 88.
  19. Not even in your wildest dreams Yeah you're offbase on this one, the White Sox and Astros offenses were pretty poor.
  20. No more ignorant than saying Self can't coach. Ask most people who the top all-time programs in CBB are, you'll hear Duke, UK, UNC, IU, UCLA, KU. Rarely will you hear UI. That's what makes them a 2nd tier program. One of these things just doesn't belong here, one of these things is just not the same. Smack-talk from the fan of a team whose best season is a runner-up finish. You can pretend all day KU isn't one of the premier CBB programs. Doesn't make it true. Your definition of 1st tier programs seems to be based on history, and I can't think of a single non-Kansas fan who would put Kansas in the same class as UCLA, IU, UK, Duke, or or UNC. Nevermind that making a tier of programs based on what they've done over the past 100 years or so rather than what htey're doing now is pretty lame. If we're talking present tense, yes, KU is on the 1st tier, as is Illinois.

  22. Calling U of I a 2nd tier program is just plain ignorant.
  23. And the offense?
  24. My last bracket interests: Texas, Nova, UConn, and Memphis. All others, go dogs.
