  1. And yeah, I kinda agree with soccer, just because you'd like for Marquis to throw to somebody else right after, get it out of his head hopefully. Rather than wait 5 days thinking about hitting a guy in the head the whole time. Well, not so much completely agree, but can understand his point.
  2. What was it? I missed it was watchin the brewer game. Sweet Escape by Gwen Stefani. Specifically the part going whooooooooooooooooo ooooohhhhhhh whooooooooooooooo ohhhhhhhhhhhh
  3. Sarcasm soccer?? He hit a guy in the head and looked shook up over it.
  4. Proof all defenders are human, and one anecdotal moment where Jacque misplayed a ball in CF or Murton dropped a ball in RF doesn't mean they're terrible defenders. Happens to the best of them, which Felix is one of them.
  5. Hall Ks with the bases loaded to end the inning.
  6. They're cycling off of them.
  7. Ned Yost would rather eat his young than manage Scott Podsednik again.
  8. Not very. Harimoto is the only guy with 3,000 hits (as far as I know), Ichiro is well..Ichiro, and Kadota has 567 HR's with 2000+ hits. I put them all over Matsui, who only hit 332 dingers in Japan. Considering he came to the states at the age of 29, isn't 332 HRs pretty impressive?
  9. Podsednik 2003 = great acquisition Podsednik the last 2 years = not worth the time and effort, and is actually a downgrade from our current OFs.
  10. Yeah, I don't think anyone said that.
  11. Nobody said Derrek was hurt. The question was Derrek looks like crap at the plate, could he be hurt. Read the title.
  12. I remember doing research on catchers to contribute to that. I enjoyed it.
  13. And replaced by... I think Murton could do it, he's starting to hit for power. How about this lineup Theriot SS Kendal C Murton LF(or RF) Ramirez 3B Soriano RF(or LF) DeRosa/Fontenot 2B Lee 1B Pie CF Pitcher I'm a big Murton fan, but this is insane. Lee to the 7th spot because of 22 ABs? Murton to the 3 spot because of about the same? Lee, Ramirez, and Soriano are clearly our 3 best hitters pretty easily.
  14. And replaced by...
  15. I don't care how "feel good" a story he is. I'm rooting against him. He's a Cardinal.
  16. That was the lineup I was going to suggest in the A-Ram injury thread with only Jones and Murton switched. Nice work Lou.
  17. What kind of shot? Cortisone most likely.
  18. You want Prior to come back as a AAAA power hitting corner OFer? I think he's saying that he wants Prior to have some balls. Ankiel's a great story, but probably won't pan out long term. Regardless, Ankiel has shown tremendous heart by coming back from his public humiliation, plus his crack-head of a father making life hell. Ankiel had a lot of excuses to quit, and nobody would/could blame him, but he still made it back to the show, and earned his way up. Sure which mark Prior had that kind of heart. You have to be kidding with that BS about Prior. Prior broke bones in his elbow after getting hit with a batted ball and pitched one month later. He ran into Marcus Giles, flipped over him, and landed directly on his throwing shoulder, and pitched the next inning. He isn't lacking heart, and he's working hard to get back to where he was. Your statement about Prior's "heart" is possibly the most ridiculous thing I have ever read here. Save this post on your hard drive somewhere. Cause you're going to have to re-post it 25 times between now and next season. I know because I have already, and I just don't have the energy anymore.
  19. No, he'll probably have a sub 300 OBP in the majors.
  20. This implies that baseball players in the future/track stars of the present aren't/won't be on PEDs.
  21. True or False: Jacque Jones catches that ball in RF.
