Pence was trying to get Lee's attention to shift him yesterday for an entire inning. It got pretty funny, listening to him scream, waving his arms frantically trying to get Lee's attention, while Lee's in another world picking dandelions.

I said it before, Fox was taken out in the middle of a game for no apparent reason other than that Lou was pissed at him. He was demoted the next day with the Monroe acquisition. I don't see him coming back, Geo will take the role as right handed power hitter off the bench following Monroe and Murton.

Wright? Wright isn't very good defensively. But he can hit, and he plays for the Mets, wouldnt surprise me if he gets alot of votes Oh yeah, I wouldn't be shocked to see him get it, I think Ramirez's old reputation will pretty much prevent him from winning it until he's once again unworthy, I mean by actual defensive skills that Ramirez is probably only behind Rolen and Zimmerman.

I looked through the NL 3rd baseman after that off the top of my head comment. I'm not real familiar with the defensive skills of the NL West, but beyond any of them there's Zimmerman and Rolen, and then I honestly think Ramirez.

Playoff Roster

Well there's no 25 man roster anymore, but Jones was in Trachsel's spot. As I said though, due to Novoa, Gooz, and Prior being on the 60 day DL, any pitcher currently in the Cubs organization is "eligible" for the postseason. Trachsel(if he was chosen for a possible playoff game) would take the spot of one of these 60 day DLers. Now, I'm not sure but I believe there's been conflicting reports as to whether Pagan is on the 60 day DL. If he is, and doesn't come back this year, then any position player in the organization can make the roster.
