Should be yeah. K-State should be decent but not great. I'm not expecting much out of Iowa State and Kansas, and I have no idea what to expect out of Colorado this year. KU will be in the top 3 in the North. And we always have a shot at beating you clowns. A sure sign of the quality of the Big XII North.

JeffH, you're ok in my book, no matter what these folks say about you. This team is only what, four games over .500? We need a big September before I'm a believer. Edit: Ok, so the Cardinals won last year with a very mediocre team, but they had David Eckstein. Our only hope is that Theriot is Ecksteiny enough to cause the opposing CF to make a critical error that carries us to a WS victory. Yeah and if somebody mentioned something about who should be our DH then you'd have the slightest bit of a point. We're leading the division right now, why is it stupid to talk about a potential playoff roster? -

It's Weeks because he was the only Brewer not to play out of his mind and he was one of my fantasy keepers. That and he got hit 4 times in 3 games. Jerk. -
I'm sure all the fanboys are going to show up gloating about their blowout of Illinois. They'd be completely wrong. If Juice doesn't get knocked out of this game, I really think they're winning right now. The vaunted Missouri offense hasn't looked like anything special to me. Nebraska's gonna roll over the Big XII North.

six of the Cubs first seven batters yesterday hit the ball on the screws. Wandy is so lucky. Oh great, now we're comparing our closer to Wandy. Is his ERA and Walks ratio as high as Dempster's? ERA is higher, BB ratio is better, HR ratio is much worse.

23/25 in save oppurtunities, 135 ERA+ 45 Ks, 27 BBs, 1 HR in 52 IP heading into today. Doesn't look great today, but he's a pretty good closer.
