yeah i'm hardly encouraged when i hear that he has the worst k/bb and k/9 ratios in baseball, but he's "found a way." That's announcer-speak for "been lucky." I don't remember where I read it(BTF I think), but Trachsel's BABIP was in line with the Cubs team BABIP so, as Ender is tirelessly trying to point out, the Cubs defense should be able to prop up Trachsel's numbers. It's not a bad team to have a guy who's pitching to contact, just keep the BBs and HRs down too if you're not gonna K anyone.
