  1. Really OMC? We're gonna count strained shoulder in ST '06, shoulder tendinitis in late summer '06, and shoulder surgery in ST '07 as 3 separate injuries?
  2. I could still beat you up. that still doesn't change the fact that you'll die before me. Depends on how bad I beat you up! LOL I'm still young enough to say LOL. No, you're not.
  3. lol Purdue won lol I sure hope Purdue can beat the same Central Michigan team that lost 44-14 to 1-AA North Dakota State. And 70-14 to Clemson. And 52-7 to Kansas. So what were you laughing at?

  5. Stone's gonna be on the radio with Ed Farmer and Chris Singleton. Farmer's a homer, but obviously can't compare with Hawk. That quote about the rough water, was one he specifically used about the '04 team. Were you referencing that, or is that a coincidence?
  6. The only people dumber than baseball front office types are baseball players.
  7. No option is clearly what he wanted all along. He wants to be able to come back pitch well, then shop himself on the open market. Not come back, pitch well and be stuck with a below market deal.
  8. Yep, Ole Miss this year is about equal to Illinois this year which is to say a borderline tourney team.
  9. This is exactly my point. Being "good", at least to me, is relative. Are we good in the sense that UNC, Kansas, or Memphis is? Hell no. But considering that we have three starting freshman and a head coach in just his second year, I think we are "good" relative to our conference. Being good relative to the rest of the SEC is starting to look like being good relative to the rest of the Big 10.
  10. Problem is next on the list is Tsuyoshi Shinjo.
  11. Your basketball team isn't very good.
  12. Chester Frazier, go away and never come back. Regarding Sampson, I think it's a big deal knowing who the recruits were. Knowing that it's a current (fat toad of a) player and a star recruit as opposed to just a Bud Mackey is a huge deal. And it does contradict Sampson who claimed he was only connected by Senderoff, that there weren't actual 3 way conversations going on. I'm really excited about getting Legion. That leaves 2 schollies left through '10. I'd guess that means just one of Crandall Head or Anthony Johnson, cause we're gonna need a big, otherwise we'll have one non-freshman big for the '11-12 season. 8 in a row hahaha.
  13. What do you have against prositutes? They're too expensive?
  14. Actually, it would be 4.27 since 2003, 3.82 if you take out his 2006 stats when he was pitching with a damaged shoulder. He was likely pitching with a damaged shoulder longer than that. '06 is merely when there was nothing left to it.
  15. I'm really not that worried about decommitts. Everyone keeps freaking out about this because of IDKWTI, but that was a unique situation. Again without the 3 wings, I might be worried about Richmond seeing a sinking ship, but with their committs, I think we're pretty safe they'll all be on campus barring a Watkins-like academic performance. Re: Bruce's coaching, I don't understand how you can have it both ways. Either you think the recruits he's bringing in are good enough, or you think he's doing a good job coaching the weak talent he's brought in. It can't possibly be both, or this team would be looking at an 8th place finish in the Big 10, and wouldn't have been an epic choke away from winning a tourney game last year. Bruce has his coaching faults, and he has his recruiting faults. I think he's learning on the recruiting trail, and I think his coaching faults can be covered by having the talent on board.(as is the case with just about everyone) Awesome so we have a guy who has really messed up recruiting and is a so-so game coach. Wait on that 8th in the Big Ten thing might happen this year, will happen next year. I'd lay just about everything I had against that. Well I hope you are right, but IU, MSU, and tOSU are lapping us. PU and Wiscy are bettering us in recruiting. Michigan and Minnesota seriously upgraded with their coaches. I am afraid in two years, before the studs get on campus we will be beating only NW, Iowa, and Penn State. Michigan and Minnesota definitely upgraded coaches, but a coaching change alone does not make up the ton of ground each program had to make up on us. I really think you're overreacting to a loss to a team that will probably be a tourney team. It sucked, and we shouldn't ever lose at home unless it's a top 10 team, but it happens. If we get Legion, we'll already be back on the upswing next year. A back 3 of McCamey, Jamar(ugh), and Legion is damn good. Alexander/Davis/Tisdale in the frontcourt aren't world beaters, but they're no slouches either. Legion is going to be a pretty big determinant as to whether we're a low seeded team in the tourney from '08-Richmond, or a team that can contend for the Big 10 title. Maybe I'm being too lenient, but barring some disasterous years (this or next), I'm giving him through the '10-'11 season.

  18. Only when the woman dies to her good Christian death will I believe she wasn't a witch. That's a fantastic line. Do you mind if I use it? Might wanna touch up the grammar first, lest people think you're an idiot.
  19. For the record for 4 years with Self's guys Weber lost 16 games. In a year plus since he has had all Self guys he has lost 16 games. Hell bring back Lon Kruger. Do you think we're going to be anything less than a Big 10 contender with McCamey, Bertrand, Paul, Richardson, Richmond, Davis, and Tisdale using up most minutes? I understand the frustration, and this year is going to suck(next year too if we don't get Legion), but happier times are definitely on the horizon. If we didn't get those 3 huge committs(along with Simpson), then I could understand the desire to dump Bruce, but things are turning aroudn on the recruiting front, and Bruce is still a good coach.
  20. Boy do I hope UCLA meets Texas in the tourney. EJ, UMFan...bring it. UCLA @ Michigan Saturday morning. UM lost to Harvard.
  21. My feeling exactly. If we start crucifying and holding amphetamines against players, then we need to dig a lot deeper than just a few years back. At least we'll get a good white man back with the HR record.
  22. Greg Couch is a horse's ass.
  23. For the record, Miami isn't even the worst team we lost to. They're a better team than Maryland.
