  1. So this one time we were losing to Tennesee St. at the half.
  2. I voted for him. You just can't justify some of the moves he did with the amount of money involved. Then when I realized I could make extra votes, I voted for Ed Wade. He's a bumbling idiot You don't get extra votes. You just changed your vote from Bavasi to Wade. And yeah, Wade's an idiot.
  3. The ND greens with white numbers were cool. I wish they stuck with those. ND's white jerseys were a lot better before they added that gold stripe down the side.
  4. Up to an 8 game win streak after a 1-5 start.
  5. so if a person has a 0.08 and kills another driver, does he deserve empathy then? yes, because .08 should not be the legal limit Well, in the same sense 55 shouldn't be the speed limit. I like both where they are.
  6. Penn St.'s unis are awesome.
  7. Dayton is embarrassing Pitt. Up by 25. LeVance Fields out with an injury as well.
  8. This is a very bad football game.
  9. Go zags. Go Vols. 12-1. This could be a 25 win team. You should get to 25 wins on SEC play alone. There's not really a team close to you guys.
  10. Yeah, Miami isn't very good. They'll probably win about 6 ACC games.
  11. Go zags.
  12. I wish Gonzaga wasn't laying an egg, cause this game is amateur hour.
  13. .17 I believe is the average, or maybe median.
  14. Thanks Wisconsin, we needed one of those. Kentucky is BADDDDDDDD
  15. Raisin ain't gonna be happy. After starting 1-5, I'm on a 6 game winning streak.
  16. Will you guys win 6 in the SEC? I think so, but I'm not certain. We won 8 last year against better competition and with a lesser team, so I'm gonna say that it's likely. Eh the few SEC previews I've read don't have your talent as any better this season, but the 12-0 start likely says otherwise. The SEC is definitely down compared to last year. 10-6 will lock you into the field, and 9-7 should have you pretty safe too. Looking like a pretty safe bet for a tourney spot right now. You'll be 13-0 entering SEC season, and it's really tough to keep a team out with 22 wins. Short of an SEC collapse, Ole Miss is a tourney team.
  17. I agree with going for it on 4th, just surprised they did, cause it's not conventional wisdom.
  18. My friend and I recently talked about how somebody we graduated from high school with will wind up killing somebody via driving drunk. It was a very sad realization, about a group of people who should be doing so much more with their lives.
  19. That's a great article. It prefectly sums up my opinion. Agreed. The first half on Buck Weaver was good as well. John's a good writer, and pretty funny too. Easily my favorite of the THT guys both from his articles and the way he carries himself outside the site. If Sosa was brought to a trial by jury, with the current evidence present, he'd have to be found not guilty.
  20. It's really late notice, but if anyone's looking for Rose Bowl Tickets, i now have 2 extra. Not looking to make money. If anyone's interested let me know.
  21. Thank Dr. Cub. I was hoping you'd come in to clear some things up, but hadn't seen you around lately.
  22. I assume you have OSU>Hawaii, UI, KU?
  23. You're a walking jaw injury waiting to happen. Anywho, I admit, I'm just spitballing and have about as much medical knowledge as Will Carroll(OHHHHHHHHHHHHHH SNAP), though to be fair to myself, nobody else speculating on this stuff has the medical knowledge either. It seems logical to me that in '06 his shoulder was shot in ST(why he went on the DL). He tried to pitch through the pain, but as evidenced by the results he wasn't the same pitcher. ST '07 rolls around and he once again looks pathetic complaining of again an injury to his pitching shoulder. I don't see how you conclude from that that Prior's shoulder was A-OK, and he just happened to re-injure it every time he tried to throw a ball again. BBB, there's little doubt in my mind his '06 performance was due to intense shoulder pain. Are there theories that it's due to adjusted mechanics? Your other question, your guess is as good as mine, as I said I know pretty much nothing about those things work.
  24. Trip B, Jose Rijo took about 5 years off and came back adn pitched well(briefly) He was a lot older than Prior. It's not the time off that worries me, it's whether his shoulder is just done for. I once again feel the need to reiterate(I lost count of how many times I have) that this is the 1st surgery Prior has had Prior has not had his injuries taken care of then he comes back with something new. It's why I took issue with OMC's listings of injuries. That was a shoulder injury that was never taken care of in ST, got to be too much to pitch with by the summer, then surprise was still hurting by ST after it wasn't taken care of. Is an injury considered chronic when you never did anything to address the injury in the first place?
  25. Meph's just doing this to piss of Big 10 fans by the way. He rationalized away BYU's win, saying they didn't deserve to win. He's done it all year with the teams he "knows" are better and really deserved to win. He put 32 points on Purdue, he knows Purdue is the far superior team to CMU.
