Anywho, I admit, I'm just spitballing and have about as much medical knowledge as Will Carroll(OHHHHHHHHHHHHHH SNAP), though to be fair to myself, nobody else speculating on this stuff has the medical knowledge either. It seems logical to me that in '06 his shoulder was shot in ST(why he went on the DL). He tried to pitch through the pain, but as evidenced by the results he wasn't the same pitcher. ST '07 rolls around and he once again looks pathetic complaining of again an injury to his pitching shoulder. I don't see how you conclude from that that Prior's shoulder was A-OK, and he just happened to re-injure it every time he tried to throw a ball again. BBB, there's little doubt in my mind his '06 performance was due to intense shoulder pain. Are there theories that it's due to adjusted mechanics? Your other question, your guess is as good as mine, as I said I know pretty much nothing about those things work.
