    Why? Why is it so upsetting to everyone to get 100 innings of league average production from the 5 spot as opposed to 200 innings of below average production? And hasn't been healthy in years? He was hurt last year, the year before he made 27 starts, he's not Kerry Wood(as a starter)

    Being decent for a long period of time does have value. Whether Vizquel could be considered a decent hitter for that time is up for debate I guess. i have a tough time using 3000 hits (for example) as a standard for induction if it took the player 22 years and 10,000 at bats to get there that's still a .300 batting average. true, but why is 3000/10,000 somehow better than 2,500/8,333? Why is 200/600 somehow better than 1/3?

    Yeah but Tim is receiving money from advertisers (although probably not profiting from it) and there in lies the problem. SI is certainly receiving money from advertisers, and by copying and pasting a full article you are reprinting their material on another site, allowing it to be read without the SI advertisements.

    Why is FP more valid for a SS, the position in which range is most important? And a 978 FP for a SS is pretty great.

Yes, if GB is down and they have to pass to get back into it, those weather conditions will play a factor!!!!11111111??????//?//?/////// If Green Bay wins a game, it's because of Favre. If they lose a game, it's because the GM didn't get Favre enough of a supporting cast so he had to force the ball downfield for those 5 INTs.

    Hopefully they bring him up as a September call-up, then he pulls a Ben Christenson while warming up in that first weekend in Cincy. Dusty would have a new on deck story to tell.

    1 year deal with a team option. Even if Braun's terrible in LF, he won't hurt the team nearly as much as he did at third.

    That is horribly, horribly inaccurate. But it's a pretty cool claim to make. derrek lee batting third got the cubs swept in the playoffs. everyone knows that. Can I use this device when people talk about how Kenny Lofton single handedly carried us to the playoffs in '03? Kenny Lofton got the Cubs to choke in '03.
