  1. SO EXCITED
  2. i personally admire castro's scientific approach to the plate (he's asian right?)
  3. go packers
  4. it'd be tragic if cutler gets run out of town for this crap. sorry bears fans, good luck next year.
  5. as a fan of neither team, i don't want 2 separate threads, i want to see these people sniping at each other
  6. good luck bears fan friends, i will root for you (aka sorry in advance for the packers win)
  7. that's assuming there's another gm out there as dumb as the angels' gm. i can't believe napoli's involved. the blue jays were probably willing to give him away for practically nothing, but the angels threw in someone who has value.
  8. the words "wait, you're really not joking?" had to have come from the blue jays gm's mouth
  9. i get this really bad feeling that milton's going to hurt himself one day. :(
  10. according to cot's bradley gets $12 million this year, with the cubs paying $5.5 of that. i think there were certain conditions where 2011 would be a club option year, but i don't think those conditions were met, so 2011 became guaranteed.
  11. oh whatever. in 5 years he'll be beloved in green bay again.
  12. i'm rooting for a good game. i'd be happy if the bears won because my internet-friends would be happy. i'd also be happy if the packers won because i like aaron rodgers, clay matthews, and aj hawk. but whoever wins, i pray to god they embarrass the afc representative.
  13. go jets. ugh i hate both teams.
  14. whoever wins this i'm rooting for in the super bowl.
  15. of course shayne graham knows how to kick field goals in the playoffs once he leaves the bengals
  16. i really don't think the bears need packers trash talking or vegas favoring the packers to motivate them in a flippin nfc championship game.
  17. i'm surprised at the amount of respect hasslebeck and company got going into this game. they're 7-9 for a reason, and it took hasslebeck playing out of his mind and favorable home crowd to win. i didn't think they had a chance today.
  18. our only realistic option is that carlos pena does pretty good this year and re-signs for an extra 2 or 3 years.
  19. is anyone good going to want the job if wood's just going to replace them in 1-5 years?
  20. cubs sign reed johnson to minor league deal http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2011/01/cubs-sign-reed-johnson.html?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter
  21. He's had similar interviews. Too bad he wasn't any good. I've always wondered if guys that play ball but agree with statheads realize they suck. Fuld seemingly knows quite a bit about stats so I wonder if he realizes that his speed and grit isn't making him a good ball player. it's not like he can choose to become albert pujols. he's doing the best he can with the physical skill set he has. his ceiling is a david eckstein type player, he can't help that.
  22. what would happen if you tacked on mariano rivera's career to jack morris, and compared him to bert blyleven? http://www.platoonadvantage.com/2010/12/blyleven-vs-morris.html that's my favorite baseball thing i've read in a long time. required reading for the obnoxious jack morris supporters.
  23. i'm rooting for the ducks vs. tigers
  24. joyce blowing that call was the best thing to ever happen to galaragga. no one cares today about len barker, tom browning, and mike witt. and in 25 years no one will care about dallas braden. but galaragga's should-have-been-perfect game will be remembered for a long time.
