  1. Bless your souls for thinking we can catch the Cardinals. We just went on a 16-3 stretch and gained like 2 [expletive] games on them. We're not catching them, because they simply won't lose enough to allow it. All 5 SPs with sub-3 ERAs guys. Has that even been done before? If that's loser talk then so be it. Giants and Pirates both losing on an off day was huge.
  2. Lol guys. The season's over because an unproven, albeit good rookie WR won't play for at least half the year? I'm excited about the Cubs as anyone, but their season could be over before Week 5. Although ironically enough, so could the Bears season. I still have hope though. Hopefully the difference between a rookie White and Wilson/Veteran FA won't be as great as we're all fearing it'll be.
  3. That might be the best play I've ever seen in my entire life.
  4. Terrific. I just hope he can come back at some point this season, it'd make me feel a lot better about 2016. Reggie Wayne or Wes Welker? I'd prefer Wayne but Welker has familiarity with Fox/Gase and the offense. With Jeffery also ailing I wouldn't be surprised if they bring in someone pretty quick here.
  5. I've always thought it was kind of sick in the head to hope that a team who hasn't won a title in 100+ years keeps losing forever.
  6. I'd guess it's because Jeffries is a more common last name than Jeffery, and people are too lazy/don't care enough to distinguish between the two.
  7. Brewerfan.net has a total of 32 posts combined in all 3 game threads this series, with currently 0 users browsing said game threads.
  8. I'm completely appalled that a pitcher of Lester's caliber struggles with the things that every pitcher at the MLB level should have long mastered. [expletive] ridiculous.
  9. Cubs, Mets, and Blue Jays annihilating opponents daily. Where the [expletive] are we?
  10. Yeah, they're pulling off the best-case scenario of most likely making the playoffs without having forfeited any of the farm. I'm ecstatic.
  11. This is true. I rather date a Packers fan than an anti-Cutler Bears fan.
  12. A couple years ago I met a girl who was a Cardinals, Packers, Bulls, Blackhawks, and Hawkeyes fan. Basically my complete antithesis. I ran.
  13. Yeah, Briggs is a huge egomaniac and I'm glad he's gone, but it's still a ridiculous question.
  14. http://espn.go.com/blog/chicago/bears/post/_/id/4699379/lance-briggs-jokes-that-he-wanted-to-punch-jay-cutler [expletive] NFL Network for even asking him that question.
  15. God it's so nice to have competent coaching for a change.
  16. If those guys are that sensitive to criticism, I'm pretty sure they're in the wrong profession.
  17. I personally gave up on Almora after last season. Light-hitting outfielders who don't walk tend not to last long on MLB rosters, although his defense will probably grant him a few years on someone's bench, ala Sam Fuld. Prove me wrong, Albert.
  18. Nothing like a guy who barely OPSed .800 in the minors come up and potentially steal ROY from Bryant (or anyone for that matter). Only the [expletive] Cardinals.
  19. If the Dodgers lose today the Cubs will have the 4th best record in all of MLB, and still 3rd in the [expletive] division.
