Yes. The lows will always be lower than the highs are high. Then again, the only sport my favorite team has won a championship in during my lifetime is [expletive] hockey. Still, sports just aren't worth it. After reading a couple different perspectives I actually didn't have a problem with that being ruled a catch and TD. He had firm possession in the end zone and had just taken his 3rd step when the ball squirted out, should be simple enough. It's kinda apples/oranges to the Dez call because the ground was a factor there and the end zone wasn't. The whole problem for me comes when comparing it to the Megatron no-catch in 2010. Perhaps it would be easier if the NFL finally admitted they got it wrong as it was an even more obvious TD than Tate's.
What's even more weird is that I could have swore to high heaven that I saw a flag thrown right by that hold before the camera panned away to the long throw. Kept waiting for it and of course...nothing.
Lol. We just annihilated the best team in baseball but we shouldn't have confidence because of 107 years of irrelevant history? You know what they say, insecurity is loud.
Not sure I'd hate it any worse than having Herrera's bat in the lineup. Exactly. There's no way Herrera is a big enough upgrade defensively over Coghlan at 2B to offset his vastly inferior bat.
I think I like the extra day of rest for Arrieta and then him facing Kershaw in G2, as we're going to have the mound advantage in G1 regardless. Greinke vs. Hendricks might suck though. And yes, LAD wins tonight.
