  1. My league inexplicably let me win the claim for David Johnson when Chris Johnson went down, despite the fact I was 8th (out of 12) in waiver priority. It was a pretty deep week on the wire, but still. They're paying the price now, championship game!
  2. Don't know if the seeding would allow for it, but KC vs Cincy would be a glorious matchup. Two historically inept playoff teams.
  3. Pretty much, except for 2009 which was easily his worst season.
  4. It's debatable. He's having a good year though. On pace for his highest QB rating and has a chance to finish with the lowest turnover rate he's ever had. He's also given a pretty bad team a chance to win at the end of most games. However, I actually thought he was playing his best football in 2011 under Martz before Knox fell down. Similar low turnover rate. I think that 2011 team could have done something in the playoffs had he stayed healthy.
  5. I'd rather let Cutler finish out his solid season and cement his job for 2016. Seeing if Fales is a worthy backup isn't that important. Besides, this is about as positive as Bear fans have been about Cutler since he got here. A benching coupled with Fales not sucking would pretty much relegate us back into the throes of QB meatballdom.
  6. Long needs to go back to RG. Gotta take Stanley in May if he's there.
  7. [tweet]https://twitter.com/GoesslingESPN/status/677929592087314432[/tweet] Didn't see a thread yet so here we go. Vikings have a lot of important injuries on defense, so points should be had. I anticipate another heartbreaker at the end but nbd. Go Bears, get that Top 10 pick!
  8. True, but that's pretty much the best slate of games we could have hoped for. No Carolina, Arizona, Seattle, New England, Cincinnati, or Denver.
  9. It'd be awesome adding two Top-10 picks to the team next year. We're making the playoffs in 2016 guys.
  10. Yeah, I mean even Ylvis thinks everything out of his mouth is garbage.

  12. Fox said he'd play if he was medically cleared, but this looks like the FO stepped in. I understand the reasoning, but IMO if he's healthy enough to play (Fox said the leg was healed) then he should be playing. Of course with the Vikings loss tonight, a win over Washington makes next Sunday their biggest game of the year with a win over MIN putting them right back into the mix. Sure would be nice to have that extra weapon if it happens.
  13. Forecast in mind, I highly doubt we'll see him Sunday. It'll be at TCF next Sunday, assuming he's activated. Freaking pumped.
  14. It depends on if you value your jersey collection or if you just want a cheap way to display your fandom. If it's the former, then of course you pay the extra.
  15. I still can't believe Bryan LaHair was an All-Star. I mean what the [expletive].
  16. White becoming David Terrell would be about the only thing that could sour me on this draft, and even then it's not a total loss, like David said.
  17. Forecast is calling for nearly 2 inches of rain with high winds. 2013 Baltimore game.
  18. I'll miss Bennett even less than Marshall.
  19. Nobody cares because these Bears aren't going to the playoffs, they aren't running the table. However, if you're bored at work, feel free...
  20. Heartbreaking game to attend. Fox too conservative again, played not to lose. Cutler had a pretty bad game, but fans around us were far more outspoken about Fox. The overall attitude toward Jay definitely seemed more positive compared to years past. This season kinda reminds me of Green Bay's 2008, Rodgers' first year. Lost a bunch of close games they should have won and ended up 6-10. Good news is they went 11-5 the following season, but of course a lot of that was because Rodgers became Rodgers. We play the NFC East and AFC South next year, which are right now the two worst divisions in football, so we'll see.
  21. Marquess Wilson is out for Sunday. Cutler is sick but should play. Obviously didn't get the flu vaccine.
  22. Also, why is there controversy on the facemask? Hand on the mask + helmet moving has been called since I started watching football.
  23. My first thought as well, but GB just had to stay within a game of MIN to have a chance for the division at Lambeau, which was likely to happen with Minny's schedule. So hopefully it won't matter. Bears need to win out and hope one of MIN/SEA falters down the stretch.
  24. Good god what the hell is wrong with GB?
