    I saw him maybe a half dozen times and was never impressed. But I don't have a strong track record of judging college QBs and their chances in the NFL. i said i didn't think he was that good and got flamed on multiple occasions. I think it's more likely he ends up like a Matt Ryan/Schaub type (not comparing skills, but production which would be above average to good) than it is he ends up in the same category as Rodgers, Brady, Brees.

    Wasn't he a guy, that despite his numbers on the suface (ERA, Wins, etc.), his peripherals (BABIP, WHIP, K/9, K/BB, etc.) always pointed to him taking a pretty significant step back? This demontion isn't a thing that a few couldn't at least speculate coming when those things finally turned around.

    What's the hold up? Does it typically take this long to be granted residency? It's taken longer than Cespedes and Concepcion but there are so few examples that you can't really get a good idea of how long it typically takes. No idea what's the hold up. Hopefully it's not because they think he's really like 27 or something.

    Or if, IF, Soriano stays healthy and Byrd/Dejesus aren't traded do they even bring Jackson up? Or if only one of those guys are lost to trade/injury does Jackson come up over filler guys like Sappelt/Campana?

    Led the majors for something like six or seven straight years. I still don't quite get how we accomplished that. It never seemed like we had a staff of overpowering guys in that stretch except for 03 when we had Wood/Prior going on all cylinders.

    The defense has been very nice too. I may be way off here, but wasn't he one of the rare offensive players who's splits were better away from Coors as opposed to at home there?
