    It is. He does kinda have a good point on how ridiculously low Lebron's fouls per minute/game are and how he's likely not having fouls called on him that should be. At least he's getting multiple fouls called against him in the Boston series. Against Indiana he didn't even foul out of the series (5 total fouls in 6 games). In his defense though, for how active he is on both ends of the court he is excellent at being fundamental and not fouling. He should have more fouls than he's getting, but he's not a high foul type of player. Oh, I agree for as big/strong/physical as he is he does a good job of not getting fouls called on him and avoids putting himself in compromising spots on defense for the most part. I think the reason he's gotten slightly more fouls called on him in the Boston series is that he's had to play more in the paint and has had to play defense on KG and Pierce in and around the post. There are probably a few instances every game though where he should be called for a offensive/defensive foul, but no one is ever called for a foul every time he could be and it's not like Lebron is blatantly hacking guys or rolling them over. But he probably should be averaging a extra 1-2 fouls a game.

    That would be interesting to know if the Cubs or any teams have them on staff (or even on retainer/private contract). But just my guess on knowing what I know about Baez's personality through 2nd, 3rd and 4th hand reports on the internet and this board I'm guessing he'd tell any psychologist or any member of the Cubs org. who told him to see a psychologist to go [expletive] off.

    FWIW, Harper has a lower K rate, higher BB rate, and Trout is benefiting from a somewhat high .356 BABIP. And he doesn't turn 20 until after this season. Both are awesome, though. Oh I agree/am aware Trout's numbers are a little inflated from where they where actually settle at, but the surface stats (which is what the media focuses on) have been better for Trout and I'm surprised he hasn't gotten at least a little more attention. Both are going to be studs. I'd probably take Harper long term, he will likely have the better career but I could see the argument for choosing Trout over him (especially if his defense is going to be as good as they say).

    W/L for me. Completely individualistic stat that the individual being given credit for it doesn't have that much influence over compliling it. Plus it pisses me off when a manager tries to get his starter to go 5 innings just to qualify for the win when the pitcher is clearly gassed/not effective and should be taken out. RBI and Saves would be 2a-2b for me.

    I think the securing of the #1 pick and Anthony Davis was the final part of due diligence to wrap up the sale of the Hornets.

    When was the last time Giolito pitched off a mound and was he looking good? Also was there ever an official injury he was diagnosed with? If, and that's a big if, it were to be at most TJS and nothing wrong in his shoulder area I'd be willing to take the risk on picking him at 6 with what I've read on him.

    With the draft lottery tonight (AKA ping pong balls for Anthony Davis) I heard this today. The Spurs have 1 lottery player on their roster (Duncan) with the league average being just under 5, the Celtics and Thunder have 6 each and the Heat have 7. Finally the Spurs have 7 2nd round draft picks on their roster only 2 teams had more 2nd picks on their roster than that in the league this year.

    I was only going off of the posts on the first page about Baez's game tonight, saw he had a BB and a near HR, I didn't look at the box score. I also agree that the arm being strong shouldn't be a reason he doesn't move to 2B.

    That's how I feel as well. I'd maybe put Zunino in between Appel and Zimmer, however.

    Very good night for both Baez and Vitters. I don't want to get over excited about one night, but let's say both Vitters and Baez pan out and Vitters can at least be a league average defender at 3B and Baez can't stick at SS (either because of Castro or because he gets too big/isn't good enough defensively which there seem to be some differing reports on lately) where is it most likely Baez is moved to? RF since his arm is so strong? Or 2B?

    Where does he have Almora, Gausman, Fried and Zunino?

    Agreed assuming Correa, Gausman and Appel are all gone and Giolito is healthy/not a difficult sign I'd prefer in order Fiolito, Almora, Fried then Zimmer.

    The salary structure prevents any team from way overpaying for Hibbert. He's probably a 10-11 million type player, and the max salary another team can offer him at his experience level is 12.92 (which with raises ends up as 4 years and around 55 million). I see the Pacers matching even if somebody offers that. Now if somebody decides to overpay Hill, I could definitely see the Pacers letting him go. But I think they will try to retain him if the price doesn't get too outlandish, although I'm not sure if they see him as the starting PG next year or not. I don't know how this works out salary cap wise but what about this three way (assuming sign and trade w/ Hibbert)? Rockets get: Hibbert, Ebanks, A.J Price (or a draft pick) Pacers get: Gasol, Sessions Lakers get: Lowry, Scola, and Martin

    The sobering thought is that Dempster has been about as good as Hamels could be expected to be. True, but our starting pitching has been good enough this year to be be (at least statistically) considered a playoff teams starting rotation adding Hamels and losing Dempster keeps us at that level at least next year. But that only goes so far if we don't improve offensively or in the bullpen.

    I know we absolutely suck right now but we do have the Pirates for 3 this weekend. I would think that, even as bad as this team has been, we can can win at least 1 game against the Pirates in 3 games and end the current 9 game streak.
