    That's crazy, it's one thing to play criticize a guy to "play hurt" through some sore muscles/twisted ankle/pulled something/etc, RGIII was clearly injured and likely playing with an injury that someone usually isn't even allowed to play with that will require surgery.

    They had the highest weighted DVOA this year and ranked 4th in both offense and defense and 3rd on ST.

    Not that I think it was the main factor, RGIII's knee was clearly not right from the start, but the field condition couldn't have helped him. That field looks like a there was a soccer game and horse race held there before the game today.

    He looks really hurt. He can't even plant his right foot to generate any sort of power/accuracy on his throws. He's throwing with all his upper body.

    I have a friend who works for the Vikings who told me last night that Joe Webb will be starting tonight. Said Ponder's elbow is pretty messed up and he couldn't throw all week, or really even move/bend his elbow. I haven't seen anything on it yet today, so take it with a grain of salt. I've always thought Webb is okay.

    That shouldn't come as a shock. Just look at the guys we have, we are going to struggle mightily to hit for power and probably consistently score runs as we basically have a bunch of ok-average OBP guys and singles hitter.

    The B team won, looks like Hoyer/Sveum is the true dream team. Also the leaks must be related to Ricketts or Epstein's camp... I say we blame UMFan's neighbor. Wasn't it Sanchez's agent who was leaking it?

    Could Stanton play 1B? Or would that not be a smart thing to play him there? If he could I'd be in favor of doing something around Rizzo. If Stanton's knee issues are a concern moving forward, playing 1B would probably be a wise move to minimize the wear/tear of playing OF.

    Yea. I think we need SF to win tonight for that game to matter to GB, IIRC. Everyone realizes that Packers/Vikings is just as big of a rivalry (if not bigger) than Packers/Bears, right? The game will still matter, Christian Ponder is still their QB, and GB will still probably win. Yea, strength of "rivalry" is not something I really take into account. You gotta throw out things like "records," "stats," and tangible things when rivalries are in play.........

    That actually seems entirely possible. Yeah. Basically asking 3 favorites (Giants/Skins/Packers will all be favored) and probably a 50-50 game (Bears at Detroit is a toss up, imo) to go the right way.

    Totally the Texans fault. Nothing to do with going 1-5 over the last 6 and the absolutely horrible coaching/game planning the majority of the season

    With the D'backs signing Ross I wouldn't mind us taking a look at getting Parra as they probably are going to move an OF. Would love to get Upton, obviously, but I don't know if they are really wanting to trade him/asking too much.

    What are the odds Schwartz gets fired? Will he get a pass for this year due to making the playoffs last year?

    Not a bad choice if they can keep him away from the defense. Years of top 10 draft picks have them poised to make a Detroit Lions like rise to prominence next year. What kind of prominence is that? A bad team that still has a lot of holes?
