I think it's pretty bad all around, Wisconsin is the clear best and I'd be shocked if they lose more than 3 conference games, but even they are a clear step or two below the top national teams.

I think Arrieta might still be our best starter. a definite possibility, but if you're matching up arms for the playoffs, do you run Arrieta or Lester out there against Kershaw? Hammel, send Arrieta/Lester out there against lesser arms and increase our chance to win

Really tough call at QB. Romo was terrible last time vs. Philly (and I'm hoping for it again as I'm playing him in 1 league). I'd probably still go with him though as I don't expect Wilson to exactly go off against SF's defense. Matthews at Flex. Yeah, I'm slightly leaning Wilson just because I think he's a safer bet to get to that ~15 point range while Romo has a little more upside potential this week I see his downside being higher. Flex I'm down to either Matthews or Stills, Gore is probably going to need to get a TD to be worth anything this week and I'm not risking that. I did pick up James Starks this week in the scenario Lacy doesn't play, if that happens he will be my flex.

What I took away after looking at her hackery is that we are having Oakland take a player in the Rule V tomorrow to send to Boston to complete both PTBNL in both deals. Or maybe we are having Oakland take a player for us and we are taking a player for Boston, IDK, she's [expletive] awful. All that I can be sure of is somehow both PTBNL are getting resolved in the Rule V according to her.

Travis Wood in Texas? That would be fun bad. Remember when people thought Jon Daniels was an elite FO guy. LOL. My friend who was working with the Reds (and is no longer with them) was drooling over him 2 years ago at the SABR conference. That was short lived. That Choo contract is just so, so bad

When is Harper a FA? Fangraphs has his contract at 5/$9.9 ending this year, does he go to arbitration after this year I assume? For how long is he controlled?

They could beat anyone if they wanted, the only thing they may have a hard time with would be if the Nats were requiring big time pitching prospects. But still, our hitting prospects>any teams pitching prospects.

If there really is a big enough rift between Harper and the Nats that they are going to trade him, you'd think their demands would be a little less than if it was "let's just gauge what we could get." I don't think it would be crazy to think something like Baez/Almora/Mckinney/Vogelbach/whatever 1-2 pitchers they like of CJ/Pierce/Tseng/Underwood and then maybe a few of major league or close to major league pieces like Wood/Castillo/Hendricks/Szczur/Watkins/Ruggiano/Coghlan would get it done.
