    It's not looking good but we have to remember he was the youngest player in the league until September call ups and will likely be among the very youngest players on opening day. Yeah, but he was striking out at a pretty bad rate last year in AAA where guys like Eric Jokisch and Dallas Beeler are good pitchers and he's doing it now in a league (where I presume) most guys won't even make it to AAA next year.

    And other than Wisconsin I don't think you can say any other team is a "lock" for the tournament. Worst case for them is everyone is shitty outside of Wisconsin, they take turns beating each other and all end up with 8-9 conference losses.

    For reference. Tyler Flowers had a 36% k% this year, a .355 BABIP and hit .241. So yeah he's going to need a mid-high .300 BABIP to get to a ~.240 average unless he cuts his k% down by a decent amount.

    I wonder if this will open up the floodgates to Cuban baseball talent. IFA draft, here we come. I would love it if Loria were forced to sell the Marlins and the moved to Havana I was thinking the same thing. While it would be good for baseball, financially would it make any sense? No

    Never been, but plan on going to one in the next few years. The idea of being in a crowded hotel/hall with a bunch of meatballs hearing a bunch of herpity derpity has been what's kept me from pulling the trigger.
