This is all I could find on twitter: Wasn't there a bad play Rizzo made on the field in the early innings? Yeah I think there was a pop up to Rizzo he intentionally dropped or let fall because the infield fly rule was in play and he was trying to trick the runners. Lackey's small, dumb mind probably couldn't comprehend such an advanced thought without explanation

In the playoffs, IMO, having Britton in the bullpen helps us more than Happ in the lineup who's abs would be taken by Jay or Almora most likely (don't think there's a big drop off there). I obviously prefer to keep Happ and try to add without using him but there's guys that I would give Happ up for.

Sometimes you have to gamble on getting an extra inning, this is the 5th of 20 consecutive games and the pen through 4.2 innings yesterday. Lackey wasn't exhausted and 7-8-9 were due up. What's Monty for out there then if he can't come in yesterday or today and soak up a few innings?

Yeah Happ is off limits in a Verlander deal for me. He'd only be available in a Gray or Britton+Gausman or Bundy deal for me of the names we've heard are available.

how annoyed would we be if he were still on milwaukee I mean Sogard, who kinda took his spot, is slashing .324/.429/.427 in 170 PAs. They're both playing at a 3.5-4 win pace.

MLBN just did a look in on Verlander's start talking about scouts watching and they showed a guy with a radar gun that had a jacket/pullover on that had the old Cubs logo with the bear standing with the bat. I'm sure we have scouts everywhere but clearly there's one at Verlander's start tonight.
