All about being a meatball but isn't this really the 1st bad offensive game in the 2nd half? They looked okay yesterday but left too many runners on again. 6 good games doesn't change the fact that the offense has been a major problem all season. And it shouldn't be. I mean they are going to have games where they leave runners on, that's just baseball. The offense has looked much better outside of today lately. If they keep getting on base at a decent rate water will find its level with the RISP BA -

In 17 innings (3 starts including today) vs us this year Wainwright has given up 2 runs. In 12 of his 16 starts vs teams not us he's given up 2 runs or more. So yeah he's the Randall Gruichuck of pitchers.

NT lists are not just teams a player does not want to play for. If you have the option it's a good idea to put teams on the NT list whom you think would actually want to trade for you. That gives you leverage if/when a trade comes. Yu knew the Cubs were interested when he first came over, and it stood to reason they'd be interested in a trade later on. Oh I agree, just pointing it out.
