I know earlier in the year when they were struggling, they were seeing in the same range of pitchers per plate appearance and also walking at a similar rate as last year. I would assume those have stayed about the same since we are playing better. If you want to use that as a gauge for "quality abs." The situational hitting has been worse but the RISP hitting has already started to bounce back. Yeah, I was talking more about walk rate rather than RISP hitting. I feel like we haven't worked pitchers much and haven't "accepted" walks for like two months, but I also know I'm talking out of my ass and the numbers wouldn't show that. Just looked it up... 9.8% BB rate this year (2nd in MLB) vs 10.4% rate last year (1st in MLB), we are actually slugging a little more this year but hitting about .010 points lower. I can't find the P/PA now but it's gotta be about the same with the BB and K rates being about the same year vs year.
