  1. Don't send Kyle back out for the 5th to "get the win," Joe. Bring Monty in to go 2-4 innings
  2. Seal boy going with "LaStella" really kinda ruins Lester just going with Lester.
  3. What the horsefeathers are you talking about? They've made up like 7 or 8 games since they "bought."
  4. Kinda want to see LaStella get a few starts in the next week or 2 vs RHP over Zobrist or Javy (when Russell comes back)
  5. I know earlier in the year when they were struggling, they were seeing in the same range of pitchers per plate appearance and also walking at a similar rate as last year. I would assume those have stayed about the same since we are playing better. If you want to use that as a gauge for "quality abs." The situational hitting has been worse but the RISP hitting has already started to bounce back. Yeah, I was talking more about walk rate rather than RISP hitting. I feel like we haven't worked pitchers much and haven't "accepted" walks for like two months, but I also know I'm talking out of my ass and the numbers wouldn't show that. Just looked it up... 9.8% BB rate this year (2nd in MLB) vs 10.4% rate last year (1st in MLB), we are actually slugging a little more this year but hitting about .010 points lower. I can't find the P/PA now but it's gotta be about the same with the BB and K rates being about the same year vs year.

  7. Payback this doofus for your best friend and future Cub, Kris
  8. If we get a little bit better luck on some ground balls tonight the Giants have 2-4 less runs
  9. Well, bye Koji. Thanks for being good for part of the year
  10. It's his fifth start, and the first three were quality starts. Meatball's gonna meatball Oh we're using "quality starts" around here now? Neat. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk He was some BABIP luck away from a 1, 2, 3 inning that inning
  11. The haters and losers will be going to bed soon since it's getting too late for their ninnie lifestyles. The winners will get to stay up and bask in all the winning about to take place.
  12. Good call My bad, I pulled a Duke. But he got 3 pretty soft hit ground balls to start the game before the HR..... one found a hole, one was an out and one Javy fucked up
  13. Addison, even with his bum shoulder, is so much better than Javy at SS
  14. As a betting man I'd say no
  15. Remember last year when everyone was creaming themselves over Gary Sanchez being the next great catcher and paying no attention to Willson? Yeah Girardi's pretty much benched him since he's Miguel Montero 2.0 behind the plate
  16. I stayed up for the whole thing you softies. Also this game is on MLBN, don't know what Chicago network has it.
  17. Vaunted Brewers tried stealing a horsefeathers load of tax payer money for a Spring Training facility, their hands were promptly slapped away after some simple math showed how hilariously awful the deal was. http://deadspin.com/study-finds-buying-brewers-a-new-spring-training-park-w-1797630664
  18. This was the same park, 9-10 months ago, like 5 of these guys had big hits to lead a 3+ run comeback in the 9th inning in game 4 of the NLDS
