  1. It’s getting lonely in the Anthony Bass is actually bad hill, but those of us left will persevere.* *Him hitting 97 was impressive
  2. Surprised to see Rizzo wasn’t rounding 2B as Javy’s pop up was being caught
  3. He's ruined the entire rotation. Bring back the racist He fastball location is killing him. I think the guy and others have proven you can be a great pitcher without velocity Yeah his command is just a tick off, he’s not hitting corners and getting behind to often and then having to come too far in the zone 2-1, 3-1 with 87-89 MPH FBs. Not a good thing to do.
  4. Someone should tell Rizzo and Schwarber to stop pulling ground balls
  5. I’d be shocked if it was even 1, unless there’s another injury. Do you thing darvish comes back this season because I don't Seems like there’s a good chance he’s back with the news last week it was just some inflammation and not anything serious. Q had been pretty decent lately and should get better, Hendricks will figure it out and pitch like he has, Lester is Lester and Monty/Chatwood is fine. If anything I could see us getting a Clayton Richard type dude for some depth but I don’t see an impact add.
  6. I’d be shocked if it was even 1, unless there’s another injury.
  7. These are some serious made up players the Tigers are throwing out there
  8. With the 2nd half gauntlet schedule, one less extra off day over the break and 5 vs the Cardinals out of the break I hope none of our guys are in the ASG or festivities
  9. As long as his velocity was/is fine I don’t really care. He’ll figure it out enough, if he’s not back until the weekend or next week now it’s not that big of a deal with the offdays this week the bullpen shouldn’t be overly tired.
  10. That’s my thinking as well. Let Ingram grow another year, Kuzma is a nice wing player to pair with Lebron and Lonzo I still like. Also do a 1 year deal for Boogie. Enough to be interesting, not enough to win. Make sure Ingram doesn’t really take another huge leap and get a guy or two next year when the picture is clearer on what the young guys are. Lonzo, Kwahi or Klay, Lebron, Kuzma, Ingram and Randle would let you do a lot of Warriors like things. I just hope they’re patient and Lebron bought in to it for the year instead of false title hopes. So goodbye Randle. Don't like paying Stephenson $4.5M and Rondo $9M when Randle signs for 2/$18M with the second being player option. They could have given him the same deal and it probably doesn't affect next year at all since Randle specifically so he could be a FA next year. I would understand if those guys could shoot (not that Randle can either) but they can't. The only good thing is all these deals are one year. Yeah not a fan of this. Spacing is gonna be an issue with this squad and (like you said) even though Randle can't shoot he's at least young and has upside and also doesn't have the personality issues Rondo/Lance have. The locker room is going to be a mess I feel like. One year deals so even if (when) it blows up you wash your hands of these guys next year or in the year, but still don't like it.
  11. everything i've seen had gallardo as one of the best pitching prospects and rated as better than a number of players who got bigger money. just wondering why he took $1m.
  12. As long as there is competition. Last years conference finals were good....the finals weren’t And the year before nothing was good. There’s never really a surprise in the NBA, it will never be MLB with its unpredictability. You’ve known the 2-4 teams every year who were gonna be in the finals at the start of the year 9 times out of 10 since forever.
  13. As long as there is competition. Last years conference finals were good....the finals weren’t There should be like 5 less teams in the league to condense it more. Having 2-3 all-star level guys per team is better than having a near all-star and a bunch of JR Smith’s and Tony Snell’s on every team, which is what the parity argument is for.
