Also, every pitcher throws 95+ with some sort of breaking pitch. It’s harder than ever to just put a ball in play.

Why not Happ/Heyward/Zobrist with Schwbarber @ st. I'm currently in a a lovers quarrel with Rizzo so he an bbe benched I’m fine with that too. Just unless it’s an injury (we’ve been told it isn’t) I doubt Joe is sitting Rizzo again even though he should just sit until after the ASB. I’d DL him tomorrow for KB coming back and keep Bote up.

Nightengale, or someone of his hackery ilk, had a article today that we were looking for that and named Adam Jones and Granderson as targets. That’s just complete and utter garbage.

I made the comp just off of the fangraphs page, but now seeing him play and how he hits/takes PAs Bote is definitely a version of DeRosa like I said and a better defender. A better defender than DeRosa? Not sure about that... I like Bote, but I really liked DeRosa when he was on the Cubs. He seems more athletic from the eye test, he’s smooth at 3B and he’s playing some SS in Iowa (even if it’s just for emergencies/trade value).

80% of our ABs tonight have been ass. Seems odd to pick on Al.I was trying to make a little bit of a joke, yes they’ve all mostly been bad but Almora looked especially bad (especially because at the time he was the only guy to get a 2nd AB of the time of the post). Plus he’s supposed to be better vs LHP and being a leadoff hitter I just expect some more competitive abs. That’s all.
