  1. I wouldn't be completely opposed to bringing him back if the price was right.
  2. I wouldn't do it. RB is a weaker spot for you and WR is a strength, to give up depth at a weakness to gain at a position that already is a strength is going to hurt you IMO. If you would do the trade there would probably be weeks where Colston/Johnson/Lloyd/Clayton all would be better or at least equal plays to Jennings.
  3. That ball was crushed. Off the bat my initial reaction was like that ball is way gone, then the camera panned to CF and the announcers weren't even getting excited or acting like it was going out. Then I see it land on the top of that building/roof/restaurant out there. Yeah it was [expletive] pulverized.
  4. Zambrano update: For those of us who still care or are even aware the Cubs are still playing baseball. 5IP 3H OR 2BB 4K
  5. Packers will probably rough the kicker here
  6. I think they said 2nd. hmm, so we didnt lose two on the timeout/bad challenge? It was a timeout for the purpose of challenging the play. You can't lose two timeouts. Can and have The last time we played the Packers, actually Yeah I have seen teams call a timeout, challenge, lose the challenge, and be charged two timeouts. Maybe Lovie got the challenge in before the timeout? And the ESPN crew never cared to correct their initial call of TO.
  7. Last play of the first half on the jump ball in/around the endzone
  8. I think it's more the GB passing game is that good. When 3-4 of Jennings/Driver/Jones/Finley are on the field one of them will be open from the snap, they are just that good. Having Rodgers doesn't hurt either.
  9. Sure it wasn't a "perfect" pass, but it was still extremely catchable and the good majority of NFL TE/WR catch that ball.
  10. I think the GB cornerback/safties leg hit Bennet's leg while his knee was on the ground before the ball crossed the plain
  11. Eh, it was a bad route by Olsen. But Cutler got too much air under that
  12. Not a waiver wire move, but I was just offered (and accepted) and trade in which I get Tony Romo and send Josh Freeman. I feel like that is a steal, Romo has put up decent games yardage wise but just hasn't been able to get the TD's Freeman doesn't have all that strong of a supporting cast even though points wise he has been slightly better than Romo so far. I now have a nice QB rotation of Eli and Romo every week which I really like.
  13. I think Cowher is going to be really choosy on where he returns to. I'm thinking the only jobs he'd consider would be those close to his home in North Carolina - Panthers, Titans, maybe Jags (not sure on distance there). That's just going off the comments that he wanted to be with his family when he retired the first time. I wonder if his thinking has changed since the death of his wife? I understand him wanting to be close to his family while she was sick, but now that she has passed away maybe he is more willing to take a job more based on the strength/prestige of the franchise instead of just where it's located? Dallas is is a very good fit for him IMO.
  14. Thank God. A.J. Smith is a stubborn fool. Reminds me of Carl Peterson. He really is, I would understand if Jackson was holding out but had a reasonable contract for the next few years. But he is going to be a FA after the year so why not take a 2nd round draft pick for him???? Or any sort of compensation? Seems like he let his ego get in the way of making a smart decision.
  15. Chargers nixed several deals for Vincent Jackson today. The Vikings were willing to give a 2nd round pick and a future pick and had worked out a contract with Jackson. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=5604433
  16. I wasn't aware they used a smaller baseball in Japan.
  17. Bring on the Metal Bats!!!!!!!!!
  18. I would drop Choice and Gaffney and pick up Hills and one of Williams/Amendola
  19. What position are you in on the waiver wire? Like you said, unless you are in the top 3 on the wire you probably aren't getting Jackson with all the attention he has gotten. Hills, Naanee, and Amendola all are solid pick ups for at least depth and for injuries/bye weeks. Are you deeper at RB or WR? I like Hills the most of those three, but since your league counts return yards and Bradford lacks any legit #1 receiver Amendola would be a good pick up as well. I think Naanee might have had a outlier week, he still has Gates to compete with for catches and Matthews/Sproles RB duo with both options in the passing game, also I think Maclom Floyd will emerge as their main WR target soon. Are either of the Mike WIlliams (TB or Sea) available in your league?
  20. Wallace and Mendenhall/Foster Pick 1: Cadillac @CAR M. Crabtree v. NO J. Maclin @DET Pick 3: M. Turner v. ARI A. Bradshaw @IND J. Best v. PHI J. Stewart v. TB Pick 1: V. Shiancoe v. MIA A. Gates v. JAC
  21. So what's the reason Castro hasn't played the last two days? Is Quade teaching him another lesson?
  22. Don't forget Scott Downs, Sergio Mitre and Eric Patterson Kerry Wood?????????? Did Andres Torres come up through the system? Or did we get him from somewhere else before he went to the Giants?
  23. Revis and the Jets apparently agreed to a deal in principle. It will make him the highest paid defensive player ever, per ESPN.
  24. What's a realistic number on a 4 year deal for him? $45-55m?
