  1. Even if they tie it I would think the Mets would have Rodriguez pitch another inning and would get to hit off a position player in the 20th.
  2. OK, please ground into 2. I just want the Cards to lose now.
  3. When he was talking about how Lopez only sees pitchers come set on TV I just had to laugh. He hits against them all the time! He's not an idiot. He steals bases. He knows how it works.
  4. Seriously, that's horrible. One run in 2 innings off a position player.
  5. If the Cards score I actually won't care. This is fun.
  6. Here comes the rope for a 6-4-3 double play.
  7. My wife was in Indy when this game started. She is now in Columbia, MO.
  8. Really wanted a 5-1 homestand. Will be angry with a 3-3 homestand.
  9. They aren't even showing commercials anymore here, just the NY Mets @ St. Louis broadcast screen between innings.
  10. 3-run rallies are more fun than 3-run homers, but when you put them together, it's just awesome!
  11. Gotta give Theriot some credit. Sure it would have gone foul but it was a very good bunt and although he shouldn't have gotten a hit out of it, it would have brought in the go-ahead run.
  12. This game is very frustrating, but aren't most Cubs games? I don't see how this one is any worse than the average loss we had last year.
  13. Sure am glad the Cubs are blasting the worst starter we will see in this series.
  14. TIME TO GO BACK TO SPRING TRAINING AND LEARN HOW TO PLAY DEFENSE!
  15. Sadly, Bud Selig does not have that power. If he did, the blackout rules would be a lot better. As bad as Selig is, the government is much worse when it comes to using common sense. Who is responsible for the blackout rules then? The blackout rules are the same as the ones outlined by the FCC. MLB.tv has to follow them. They are trying to get around them as much as they can (such as in-market games for Yankees and Padres fans, but they have to meet other requirements.) Here's the map: Sucks to be in Iowa.

  17. Weather.com says 20 MPH from the NW which is pretty much a cross-wind towards right field, correct?
  18. Go Cubs! Please keep the magic going Silva.
