    I really disagree with Rosenthal. How can an east coast city be in the central division? Divisions should be based mainly on geography and not on the current competitive climate of the league.

    I do get tired of everything being about race. Maybe they're being compared because people want to figure out if the OF is better off this year than it was last year and Byrd is replacing Bradley in the aspect of the outfield consisting of Soriano, Fukudome and Bradley ('09)/Byrd ('10). Is Wrigley more racist than other stadiums? No. Does the Chicago media instigate the issue? Yes. Have there been some players that have fallen into the media's trap of discussing race? Yes.

    About 40% of the pages in this thread are a long winded discussion about how clutch/unclutch Kane is. People were pointing out Kane's only goal in this tournament before today came in a 6-1 laugher. Oooh. So drawn from the same logic as the "Sammy only hits solo HR's because he's selfish" argument. Gotcha. I assumed that's what it was but I usually dont watch/follow hockey at all. I've got to say, the olympics have been fun to watch, though. Then watch the NHL playoffs, rooting for the Hawks, or otherwise, the NHL playoffs are amazing. I'd love to watch the playoffs but we don't get Versus...

    3-0 Sweden. Nearly the 2nd intermission. EDIT: Now, a little worried about the possibility of a 6-goal difference in this game, especially with the 5:00 minute PP.

    It would be phenomenal to get the 1 seed. It almost guarantees the US makes it to the semis and guarantees that they don't face Canada or Russia until the Gold Medal game (and therefore would only have to face one of them).

    You should have bought them. Sold them. Then used to money to pay for a whole bundle of tickets... I thought about doing this with the Angels game, got through for 6 of them accidentally. I didn't feel like taking a temporary $2200 hit, and I have no clue what the resale value on those things are. If only Mizzou were still around. Huh?

    Yeah, I could see that. I'm sure buying and reselling infield box seats is probably the best way to make any money off of them because you can probably sell for much more than what you paid. There probably aren't too many people willing to spend that kind of money on regular season tix. Good thing I wasn't presented with that situation. I probably would have made the mistake and would now be kicking myself.

    Yeah, I was in high school and my parents let me stay home to get the tickets we wanted for that year.
