    For tickets in 2005 I didn't get through until 1:00 pm... This year I had four games by 11:30.

    I got bleachers for May 15 as well. I also wanted better, but the reserved seating went fairly quick for that day. However, I got Row 3, Sec 131 for May 14th. I'm pretty excited about that.

    When I try to get Royals tickets I'm in withing 5 minutes, every time with 5 waiting rooms open. Not so easy with the Cubs..

    I always go for the cheap May dates right after finals week. I've had some good success on good seats that way.

    On the technical foul in the Mizzou game: I was sitting in the front row close to the Texas bench. Barnes asked the gray-headed ref why it was a technical, the guy shrugged his shoulders and said, "I don't know." It was clearly one of those, "I can't say it, but my partner is an idiot and I agree with you." I think it was a makeup because a few minutes before that they should have called a technical and didn't. However, I hate makeup calls and they should never be made. EDIT: I said technical because I was thinking about the Michigan game, I meant intentional...

    I like how you say voila as if it's a great way to show their broadcast schedules. Their website is atrocious. I don't think I made my sarcasm as clear as I meant it to be. I am in agreement with you although it does provide the necessary info. Did anybody else notice that a dog show was on CNBC last night and WWE was on USA while their were multiple Olympic events going on that were not being aired? I do not like figure skating, but that is all that was on last night.

    I have always wanted them to get rid of those rectangular slabs. Those things are hideous.

    I heard from a friend, so hearsay, that Goodell said on the radio that they were thinking about penalizing defensive players who hit a player that is wrapped up. If that is true, then I don't think I'll be watching much more football. How many times do you see a player break a tackle and then go for a long run? You can't expect defenders to not touch him before he is ruled down. That's just ridiculous.

    Yes, I was very mad last night. I would rather that Bowers took the shot. At the time English, Dixon and Denmon were all on the court. In no way should the shot have been taken by Tiller, much less a contested shot.

    I think the main thing that makes the Pro Bowl lag behind all the other All Star games is that the best players actually want to be in the other All Star games. Even when it's in Hawaii a lot of the players bow out and now that it wasn't in Hawaii even more players didn't play. I haven't watched a lot of NHL and NBA ASGs, but at every MLB ASG there are many players that are very excited to be there and for some of them it is a dream come true. I don't get that vibe from the NFL at all. Also, I think the MLB ASG is very similar to a regular MLB game other than the mass number of substitutions.

    Won't this diminish conference tournaments and late-February/early-March games even more, which is the supposed reason for football not having a playoff, they don't want to diminish the regular season. You could argue that it could increase the value of those games because the top 32 get a bye, but I don't buy it. Bad move. Just a prediction here, but I bet the "first round" or "play-in round" or whatever it will be called will end up on the ESPN Networks.

    I hate kU. Aldrich should have fouled out a long time ago. He took a "charge" with four fouls and he clearly didn't have his feet set. Would most likely have made a difference in the finish.

    Peyton Manning is awesome. He's my favorite non-Packer in the NFL. Go Colts.
