At this point we probably want the Dodgers to win. Don’t want them in a wild card game.

Not really. They still are in the playoffs. But some of it feels the same, for sure. If this team played in the NL in 2004, they'd probably be worse than that team. They're very fortunate the NL sucks this season. The NL doesn’t suck. And especially not the NL Central.

Losing games sucks. The offense doing absolutely nothing when you really need to win games is just disgusting. 4 games in the last 6 the offense just has not shown up.

I think we were robbed of a truly great, prime season from KB. Sucks. Especially since the division is so close.

What happened with the ump? He called timeout in the middle of a play that ended as a double play, but since he called it dead the second out didn’t count. But the reason he said that was Cain took a pitch in the zone that should have been called strike 3 but wasn’t. Then he singled. Later in the inning the hitter called for time late and it was granted. Hrabsoky said that’s where you just throw it and if it hits the umpire so be it.

The Cubs have lost 3 series since the all star break. Let’s stop with this “blowing the division” talk. There are other formidable teams in the division playing well this season.

These games where the offense doesn’t score are infuriating, but in all honesty the vast majority of the of frustration is with the Cardinals and Brewers winning so many games. And knowing that if a whole pile of things hadn’t gone wrong for the Cubs, we would have popped champagne a week ago. However, stepping back and recognizing where the Cubs are right now given all of that... Hard to be upset with the team.
