  2. Cardinals starting the bullpen implosion. Please keep it 3-1 here.
  3. Lol. Been trying to get it switched to something else and am having issues. Setting up a Gravatar account & uploading an avatar there was the only way I could change mine. :dontknow: No clue why I could neither upload an image nor link to a remote image like I used to. Thanks!
  4. If we’re winning the next three games I want the Brewers winning at least 2 in St Louis. I’m gonna have to strongly disagree with this line of thinking. Get the division wrapped up as soon as possible, it requires the cardinals winning so be it. I get the sentiment. However, a magic number of 1 (or 2) with 7 games to be played (4 Cubs, 3 Brewers) does not scare me. A 2-3 game lead over Milwaukee is waaaaay more comfortable than a 3 game lead over the Cardinals simply due to the head to head factor of the last weekend of the season.

  6. If we’re winning the next three games I want the Brewers winning at least 2 in St Louis.
  7. If the lead is 3.5 after today, I’m probably wanting a Brewers 2/3 or even a sweep depending on how our series goes against the Pirates.
  8. Records to tie Cubs / Brewers / Cardinals 5-3 / 7-0 4-4 / 6-1 3-5 / 5-2 / 7-0 2-6 / 4-3 / 6-1 1-7 / 3-4 / 5-2 0-8 / 2-5 / 4-3 Reminder that the Brewers and Cardinals play each other this week.
  9. We once had a guy that worked in the stocking warehouse for one of our customers call our distributor claiming he found a piece of equipment worth $5000 on the side of the highway. “Must have fell off the truck.” He wanted a finders fee of $1000 or “half.” We called the sheriff. Of course the serial number showed that it was delivered to his place of work.
  10. Most likely for the long journey to Milwaukee or St. Louis.
  11. Records to tie Cubs / Brewers / Cardinals 7-4 / 10-0 6-5 / 9-1 5-6 / 8-2 / 10-0 4-7 / 7-3 / 9-1 3-8 / 6-4 / 8-2 2-9 / 5-5 / 7-3 1-10 / 4-6 / 6-4 0-11 / 3-7 / 5-5
  12. 7-5 is fairly realistic and should be enough. Get it done, Cubs. Even 6-6 makes it hard for Milwaukee. Let's say we went: 1-1 vs. Arizona 2-1 vs. White Sox 2-2 vs. Pittsburgh 1-2 vs. Cardinals Milwaukee would have to do something like: 2-0 vs. Reds 2-1 vs. Pirates 2-1 vs. Cardinals 2-1 vs. Tigers Just to tie. And aren't two-way division ties broken by head to head now anyway? We own that, too. Nope. They’d play a tie breaker game.
  13. This is what I’m rooting for: Sunday: Cubs AAAA team beats Cardinals pushing them into a tie with Dodgers and Rockies. Monday: Dodgers defeat Rockies Tuesday: Rockies defeat Cardinals (in St Louis) Wednesday: Rockies defeat Brewers (in Milwaukee)* Thursday: Rockies vs Cubs NLDS begins Cubs beat Rockies Braves beat Dodgers Cubs beat Braves *They might make them play a day game because AL Wild Card Game.
  14. This chart is looking more fun again: Cubs / Brewers to tie / Cardinals to tie 9-3 / 11-0 8-4 / 10-1 7-5 / 9-2 6-6 / 8-3 / 11-0 5-7 / 7-4 / 10-1 4-8 / 6-5 / 9-2 3-9 / 5-6 / 8-3 2-10 / 4-7 / 7-4 1-11 / 3-8 / 6-5 0-12 / 2-9 / 5-6
  15. I want 2019 to be juggernaut season. I want the crowd to chant MVP for 4 batters in a row all season next year: Bryant, Baez, Rizzo, Harper.
  16. We’re back. Tonight’s game has been annoying, but they really have been pretty good against Corbin tonight.
  17. Looking through game logs, they don’t let Corbin go much over 100 pitches. A lot of 5-6 inning starts. Would be great to get a run or two and get that count into the 90s this inning.
