Cubs magic number has only decreased by 3 since last Sunday.

I’m pretty pissed that we’re struggling to put it away this year. We’re in what is supposed to be the Rizzo/Bryant prime years with Zobrist and Javy having career years, and a very solid pickup in Murphy. This team should own.

I really thought at this point in the season the Brewers would be running on fumes. Not the Cubs.

This goes in the NSBB HoF for me. Maybe it’s because I love BTTF so much. Maybe it’s because it’s about the weather and posted by Aramis Fan. Maybe it’s because it’s timely. This post almost made the weekend worth it.

Cubs should lobby to switch Wednesday/Friday night/day games. I’m sure the Brewers would flip out, and I’m sure the city won’t let it happen, but I’m banging that drum like crazy if I’m Maddon.
