Tonight is going to be a full on rage mode game for me.

An edge is one thing. 2-1 favs is another thing all-together. I’ve felt this entire season that their regular season percentages looked very good, but their postseason percentages have been way off. For instance, many times this season the Dodgers have had pretty high WS winning odds while having less than a 50% chance of even making the LDS.

That’s definitely not true. That was supposed to say “see if most” Even if that were true, that still doesn’t mean that things evened out. You could be projected for 85 wins, play like a 95-win team, get “lucked out” of 10 wins and finish with 85 wins. Dramatic example? Yes, but still proves the point. Edit: But I’m also only arguing because I’m mad. Forgive me.

No, it doesn’t, Steve Stone. It usually mostly does “Usually” and “all” are not the same thing. And how could you even quantify that? I get the sentiment, but it’s just a thing people say.

Was hoping for Gore to steal second and third and score on a wild pitch/passed ball. Watching him and Dyson run together on the bases in KC was a blast.

Game obviously not over, but I just want to say the losses the last few weeks have been pretty annoying. Thankfully, they’ve been rare.

New question. If you knew the Cubs would win the World Series, who would you want to face along the way? NLDS: Brewers - Cardinals fans would be so pissed the rivalry series wouldn’t include them. And we would have eliminated every division rival in the postseason besides the Reds in recent years. NLCS: Dodgers - Would go up 2-1 on them and so many people would whine about the two biggest NL markets going 3 years in a row. And only 1 game away from 4 straight. World Series: Yanks or Sawx. Pretty interchangeable for me.
