No thanks. The guy had two different sexual assault allegations. I don't want a horsefeathers bag like that on my team regardless of his talent level. Sure it's possible they were both fake, but I find it unlikely.

There's been very little of note on Southisene and from what little I've seen he seems to always be filling up the box score. Anyone seen anything beyond like a 1 sentence blurb on him? I love prospects with that plus hit tool so I was pretty hyped when they picked him and the Cubs must have been hyped too considering his over slot.

I mean seriously, what the guy is doing is just so absurdly beyond everyone else in the league right now. The guy is on an unprecedented 16.2 fWAR/162 pace which is just so far out there it seems made up. He has already accumulated 29.5 fWAR since the start of his age 30 season and at the rate he's going you could ignore his entire career before age 30 and he'd reach HoF level fWAR production by the end of his age 36 season.

Tuimoloau was one I liked too, but I felt like 41 was too early and I'm pretty sure he's not there at 72.

I don't have anyone that I'm desperately hoping is there at 39, but any of Henderson, Emmanwori or Ezeiruaku would all be good gets. If Will Johnson is there at 41 I'd probably roll the dice and hope for the best. I was kind of hoping that Simmons was going to make to to 39, but no go.

Has there been anything on Twitter about why Will Johnson has absolutely plummeted? More than a few mocks had him top 10.

They really did, but damn I would have loved to have Pearce. He was one of those guys I wanted the Bears in on if they traded back to 16 or 17.

If Pearce slides a bit more, I think I'm on board with going up to grab him.

This. We need to hope some team gents infatuated with a need to fill a QB and grabs Sanders in the top 9. If that happens, there will almost certainly be a very exciting player for the Bears to take at 10.

I just can't see Jeanty making it to the Bears unless they trade up and I'm not a big fan of that.

When the Cubs gave him an invite to spring training I got pretty hyped. They wouldn't do that immediately after the draft unless they were really high on him. -
Seeing Mason Graham drop to and past the Bears in a few mocks recently, no idea why that would happen, but I'd be super unhappy if he made it to the Bears and they passed.

Absolutely, but at least it means they put a real competitive offer on the table which means even if it's not Tucker, we can be optimistic that they're willing to put money out there for a star. Thus far they haven't shown they're willing to do that. -

Murakami 2022 and 2021, absolutely bust out the checkbook and pay him a lot, but that guy has been replaced by one with significant swing and miss issues.

I'm so disappointed that all the plate discipline gains that made Cowles an exciting piece to get in last year's trade have basically evaporated. I had myself convinced that he had to the potential to be a budget Ben Zobrist.

Who knows if the taking heads have any idea what they're talking about but the Bears are apparently absolutely in love with Jeanty and hoping that one of him, Warren or Membou are there. There was even talk that they were infatuated enough with Jeanty to move up for him which I would kind of hate.
