  1. 2 series, regardless of how long that takes, is gonna be my guess.
  2. I'm getting to the point where I think I'd actually be surprised if some of the AAA bats aren't consolidated into either an MLB arm with control or into a high end sp prospect in AA/AAA. I think the MLB arm is the more likely,
  3. I've kind of see him as an Adam Dunn with slightly less raw power, a good bit less game power currently, and significantly better defense. Posting lines like .230/.330/.500 is probably not an unrealistic outcome for him. If he can be more of a 27K% then a 33-35K% guy that's when he starts getting pretty damn exciting.
  4. Unfortunately I don't think Shaw has enough time left in the season to get caught back up.
  5. We're at the point where Horton has to have a serious chance at NL ROY right? ERA is sitting at 3.07, FIP is starting to come down nicely and stands at 3.73. His W=L is 7-3 for the old timey stat folks. I'd really love that extra pick.
  6. I find it hilarious that Kepley has been HBP 31 times in 2025. It makes me wonder if there's an actual skill set to it.
  7. The Rockies are 32-88. 4 of those 32 wins are against the Cardinals who they are now 4-2 against. Those 4 wins represent 12.5% of Colorado's total wins this season.
  8. I never said he did show anything like this, I said people need to stop acting like he's ready to wash out of the league after an acceptable rookie season.
  9. Well horsefeathers, I might have spoken that into existence.
  10. I can't tell if this is being facetious; I feel like it should be though.
  11. Not often you see an offense go from top 2 in the league to bottom 2 in the league over extended stretches.
  12. Unfortunately the top and middle of the order can't hit for horsefeathers.
  13. Ignoring that OF assist he just had. Happ has a career 115 wRC+, is still at a 105 wRC+ right now in his down year, and grades out well defensively for a leftfielder. He's not an allstar level talent, but he's probably a safe bet to put up 25 fWAR in his career.
  14. So horsefeathers absurd how negative everything is on Caleb. Guy has a good, not great, rookie season which broke just about every rookie Bear QB record and you'd think he was ready to wash out of the league.
  15. The thing that stands out to me is that they're getting big time impact prospects. A top 10 prospect in 2024, arguably #1, a top 10 prospect in 2025 with another just outside the top 10. I don' t think the Cubs have had a top 10 prospect since the Bryant/Baez/Russell era. They've been close with PCA and Davis, and Eloy+Gleyber did get there, but not as Cubs.
  16. Good god, look at the Brewers. The Cub organization just doesn't do anything better than they do. #5) Jesus Made #16) Luis Pena #53) Cooper Pratt #65) Jefferson Quero #90) Logan Henderson After losing Misiorowski this year and a top 10 prospect in the game at the start of '24 in Jackson Chourio.
  17. Since June 7th, this team is 27-26. This is what they are, a mediocre team who got red hot to start the year. If I had to guess right now I'd say they finish 87-75 and get ousted right away.
  18. There was just absolutely no reason to do it before the season ended. It's not like there were going to be tons of teams ready to poach him from the Cubs. A completely self inflicted unnecessary wound which is what Chicago sports is all about for the last decade.
  19. They're at almost a full half season of playing at 121 win pace now.
