    Adding Villaneuva and still pursuing Edwin Jackson makes me real concerned that the Rumors about Garza's arm that ABTY was talking about are real.

    Me too, but would you trade one of our top prospects for him? I wouldn't, he could easily end up being a reliever. Maybe the Royals are looking for someone like Barney to replace Johnny Giavotella at 2B since they're seemingly all in for 2013.

    I'd certainly be willing to take Yordano Ventura off their hands.

    Kendry Morales goes to the M's for Jason Vargas. I love this trade for the M's. Vargas is awful outside of Safeco and Kendry had a nice second half in his first year back.

    I can see a very good argument for Torreyes at this point. He's a guy who will be 20 all next season. At age 19 in A+ ball he played above average defense at 2B, improved his walk rate from 4.38% to 6.3%. In the first half he had that outrageously horrible babip luck, but after the ASB he put up a 297BA 361OBP 450SLG 811OPS line in a notorious pitchers league.

    If the Angels get anything of value for Wells, and we can't move Soriano that will suck. per ABTY, the Angels are willing to eat a lot more of Wells' contract and they're also willing to take back a bad contract for a nice return.

    4/56 is the highest I'd be comfortable with; I'd begrudgingly go 4/60. 5/70 is absolute max and to be honest I'd feel real uncomfortable with that.

    If I remember correctly the "too steep" meant that the Padres wouldn't go 4 years. I personally have no problem with Edwin on a 4 year deal. Maybe 4/52 or 4/56.

    Already older and depends almost entirely on his speed to provide his value.

    I guess that could have possibilities. Get Payton, anything less is a disappointment You really think there's any chance Lovie comes back after a team that was 7-1 misses the playoffs? Whether they get Sean Payton he's gone.
