  1. I wonder if the Orioles would pull a surprise move and promote Schoop.
  2. Porcello is by no means bad. He had a 3.91FIP, 3.89xFIP and 4.00 SIERA last year. Every year of his career his FIP,xFIP and SIERA have gotten better. His velocity picked up last year as well. The only reason his ERA looks so bad is that he induces a ton of ground balls and his infield defense is absolutely wretched. Put him on a team with good infield defense and he's a good pitcher. As far s Rondon goes, he's ready to be a closer this year and hits 100MPH.
  3. I'd like love to see a deal resembling DET: Hardy/Marmol CHI: Porcello/Avisail Garcia/Rodon BAL: Garza O's might have to give up another prospect, but it makes a lot of sense for all 3 parties.
  4. O's writer seems to think the Cubs/Tigers/O's are talking 3 way. With pieces like Porcello and Hardy mentioned as well as a Cubs pitcher. http://www.masnsports.com/school_of_roch/2013/01/sifting-through-more-rumors.html
  5. Meadows would really make me unhappy. I really believe Clint Frazier is the guy to have, even though the Cubs are supposedly enamored with Manaea.
  6. He turns 23 on the 8th I believe. So as long as he's signed on the 8th or after he wont count towards the IFA budget.
  7. I went Zych, Martin and Scott. I wanted to go upside more than guys who were close to MLB ready like Loux and Watkins. I also considered Wells and Whitenack.
  8. Don't know how reliable the info is, but a couple people over on PSD were vouching for Joeby231 who said we're the leaders for Aledmys Diaz.
  9. I have to lean towards Amaya, I mean he did put up a 3.000 OPS in Iowa. Seriously though, I like the walk rate and the pop. His Ks are a little too high. Overall though, even at 2B I still prefer Amaya's talent. The only thing I like more about Marco is his glove.
  10. 3rd and long, don't screw this up GB.
  11. Well I take some comfort in knowing that GB stands zero chance at a SB. This defense is absolutely pathetic.
  12. Apparently James Jones has a little bit of Hester in him.
  13. They at least had the threat of Forte outside of a couple games.
  14. Yeah stupid them and the other 12 teams the Vikings have played this year. They had Percy Harvin before. Without Percy there is no reason they shouldn't be able to stop them.
  15. Green Bay is apparently too stupid to realize the only offense is AP and screen passes from Ponder.
  16. Seriously? Gerhart with a 21 yard screen on 3 and 13? Nice effort GB.
  17. Hell yeah Forte. That was huge.
  18. There's run number 2. Total time of drive, 10 seconds.
  19. Lions will get the ball back with 2:30 to go.
  20. The worst part is even if the Bears stop the Lions, the Bears will run all 3 downs on offense.
  21. Ah yes, run, run, 3rd and long.
  22. What was Wright supposed to do there? Robiskie lowed his head to waist level.
  23. Good job Briggs. 7 point swing because you're too damn stupid not to hit the QB in the head..
