I don't understand how MLB could possibly award EJM to the Giants unless they're suddenly making verbal agreements a binding legal contract, which we all know they aren't. -

Damn it, I like the Nationals, but my god are they just awful when it comes to choosing managerial talent. -
Already said it in the other game thread, but I'd rather face 3 very goods and one unproven for 7 games versus 4 or 5 games of super elite. I could see the offense blowing up Syndergaard, Harvey or Degrom. I can't see them doing that to Greinke or Kershaw.

Wow, that is seriously a bummer. By far my favorite guy.

I much prefer the Mets. Greinke and Kershaw are on a different level than than Harvey/DeGrom/Matz/Syndergaard. I feel like the Cubs could get to those guys, while I simply can't envision a scenario where they're putting up 4+ runs on Greinke or Kershaw.

I noticed he had a new hat for the Pirate game. I didn't see any marks at all.

Am I wrong or did the Blue Jays just completely torpedo any chance to resign David Price? They put him into a 7-1 game with game 5 imminent in two days. They clearly had no intentions of ever using him for game 5 instead preferring to go with Stroman. If I'm Price this is a huge slap in the face, because they obviously don't trust me with the game on the line.

The Cubs are 7-0 against the Mets this season. I see no reason to be afraid.

The luck of having a dumbass on the bases? You're great overstating it. The only way he avoids the ball is heading back towards 1st which is the last thing you want to do if you're not sure the ball is getting through.
