    When the FA class next year is highlighted by Allen Lazard and Jakobi Meyers then yeah, I don't mind this trade. It also frees up their draft so they don't feel like they have to take a WR in the 1st or 2nd now. I'd love to see them trade back for a 1st and a 2nd then grab a DE,OL,WR in the first 2 rounds.

    I like what this does for the draft. It basically makes the first round pick either DL or a trade back to fill multiple holes and I don't have a problem with either option.

    This team isn’t desperate for base competence. They’ve already won 3 games with middling talent, and lost 2 they probably should have won. They can compete. What they need is high end talent. Doesn't necessarily have to be across the board either, just think how much difference another receiver who can actually catch the ball and a competent pass blocker at, say C, would have made this season. One WR and one OL then start dumping the rest into the absolutely terrible DL. I wouldn't be opposed to a 2nd WR/OL though.

    So, explain to me why a player can be grandfathered in on a rule change where he gets a built in advantage the rest of his career.

    If the WR comes back to the ball at all, he catches that.

    Fields flashes of good are starting to grow more consistent and while there's still a lot of bad in there, it's overall a positive. I'm not too worried about the batted ball interception, that is going to happen. I'm more worried about ball security. Fields puts the ball on the ground a lot when he's scrambling in the pocket. With that said, I don't expect a win but it would be nice to a see a competitive game. The offense is going to have its hands full with the Dallas defense.

    How can he win when he admitted to cheating years ago and chess.com said he cheated a lot more than that and a lot more recently? His credibility is non existent.

    Brisker looks great, Gordon has looked good the last few weeks and Robinson looks good to great as well. Braxton Jones looks overmatched, but given his draft status I'd expect that in years. With 2 muffed punts and his inability to get on the field with a team that has almost no WR talent, Velus Jones is the most disappointing one. Jury is out on Ebner, but he always looks slow to me in his minimal touches.

    Since we don't have an all purpose thread, what does it take to get Kyle Pitts out of Atlanta? The coach has basically completely ignored his existence using him almost solely as a distraction to get others open. He's sitting at 16 catches for 178 this year after putting up 68 catches and 1026 yards as a rookie.
